Private hot tub, outdoor dining, and a dedicated backyard. This listing is for the main house only, the cottage on the property may be occupied by another group during your stay.

Two-story historic home built circa 1755 in Nantucket's Historic District, within walking distance of downtown. Original character throughout, including sloped floors and narrow staircases. A new bathroom and select modern updates have been added for comfort. The main house has its own dedicated private outdoor area, partially enclosed by a fence that separates it from the cottage house. The cottage house is rented separately and may be occupied by another group during your stay. This home is not ADA accessible.

Our home is located just a brisk walk from downtown Nantucket; great restaurants and shops are just a few steps away! The shoreline is close by, with the popular Jetties Beach just a 10 minute bike ride through town. Our home’s location is perfect for those looking to get the best of both worlds; the hustle and bustle of the community center and the reprieve of an island getaway.

Beaver is located in the Historic District Near downtown, the home is about 2500-3000 steps to downtown



Getting Around:

Want to explore? We’ve got you covered. Downtown Nantucket is a brisk walk away, but if you’re looking to adventure to other parts of the island, there are several different transportation options near us. There are two bike rentals within a 15 minute walk from our home; Young’s Bicycle Shop and Sandy Pedals Bikes. But, if cycling isn’t your speed, Affordable Rentals is also a 15 minute walk away in Downtown. Just remember to bike safely and wear a helmet!

-We have a minimum age requirement for booking this rental. Reservation holder must be 21 years or older.

-We request that guests complete a guest verification process and sign an additional agreement prior to receiving any check-in information. 

-We require that guests provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only.  

-We do not accept peer-to-peer payment systems or any prepaid debit cards as methods of payment. 

-Pets are not allowed at this property. 

-Mailing packages to the premises is not permitted.

-We use Arlo/Hikvision and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo/Hikvision is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations.

You will have complete privacy here. Should the rare maintenance issue occur, our ground team is available to assist. Check in is keyless; no need to worry about lost keys!
