My husband and I decided to take a quick trip to visit family. We wanted to stay close to downtown and the beach and this place far exceeded our expectations! Not only was it close to everything, it was quiet, quaint, and full of anything anyone would need for a long weekend! We love the high ceilings, adorable decorations, and the feeling of home! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Thank you for choosing to stay with us! We are so happy to hear we exceeded your expectations and made you feel at home! We would love to welcome you back in the future.
Communication was great! Honey was proactive in contacting us regarding check in and during our stay to see if we needed anything. The place was in tip top shape when we arrived. Appreciated the cleanliness. Nicely appointed and easy to put a meal on the table and/or use as a home base to explore the region. Love the location, too.
So grateful for Honey’s help making this property work well for our family. They gave my uncle a tour ahead of our stay at our request, and then they provided a pack’n’play and some kids toys/books that I don’t think are typically part of this listing. It made a difference! Thanks!
The stairs at the entry are a little difficult for kids to navigate, and a little rickety, but the hosts were very honest about it upfront and it worked fine for our family in the end because we could make sure the kids stayed away from there when coming/going and they still had plenty of space to play.
Loved the unique decor. We were playing “find the bee-themed items” all week, and continually surprised.
It’s one big room, “studio” layout. We thought this would be a downside but it ended up being awesome to see the kids playing across the room from the kitchen, on the porch, etc. We had to stay quiet during naps but used a loud sound machine to help.
Appreciated the kitchen amenities, just enough for us.
The shower was a little small, and for the baby we missed not having a bathtub, but we made it work.
Thanks for the great stay!
This property used to be an active working honey barn and then a hostel later. We have tried to preserve as much of the honey barn history as possible.
