My husband and I came up from Charleston, SC to stay with some local friends for my mother’s funeral. The place was well appointed and clean. In a beautiful neighborhood close to everything. Highly recommended
Craig was an excellent host. We thoroughly enjoyed the well designed space equipped with everything we needed and plenty of closet space. I wish the weather was nicer to be able to enjoy the patio and lovely screened in porch. I would highly recommend!
The cottage was everything and more than promised. We were vacationing and exploring DC - very convenient to the Metro and it was great having a “home” to come back to in the evening instead of a hotel room. Craig was responsive but gave us our space. We would recommend staying if you are looking for something in the area. You won’t be disappointed. As a bonus, the dogs were very friendly and made us laugh.
Had a great time staying at the cottage. It was beautifully furnished (more so than other rentals). Nice linens an dishes for use. The design of the place was more in line with a place a person would live in than rent out, which made for a very comfortable experience. The owner was very friendly and laid back. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, and it was safe to park on the street. Within 1 mile there is a town center with nice restaurants and a super market. Was nice to walk to and bring back take-out. If you like running, there are lovely paths and sidewalks along all of the streets
Craig was a great host. The cottage was very clean and nice. We had everything we needed. We all especially loved the visits from Finn. Such a sweet dog. We enjoyed our time in DC and Rockport.
We rented this property for a place for my father and sister to stay over Christmas. It was perfect for my father who has some mobility challenges with two of the three bedrooms and the bathroom being on the first floor along with an easily accessible entrance. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and serving several full meals. The living area has a wonderfully comfortable couch and a large smart tv where we watched Christmas specials. The location is close to the Rockville metro and Rockville Town Center. The host Craig was easy to reach and gave a nice orientation to the property so we knew how to find everything we needed. Given that this property is a great location and has three bedrooms which can easily sleep between 4-6 people with no one having to spend the night on a pull out couch, it was a very good value for the price.
Loved the large screened-in sunroom as a social space! The cottage is newly-built and provided an elegant, classy and accessible accommodation during our three-day stay in the Washington area, and all with close proximity to the Rockville Metro Station. Our hosts were welcoming and gracious. We'd certainly make this our choice for our next DC visit!
This property is absolutely amazing! My friends and I could not have been happier to find an affordable wheelchair accessible home near DC. We absolutely loved this cute little guest home, and the screened porch was a perfect relaxing place to hang out after a day in the city! The bathroom was spacious and fully accessible, which can be difficult to find for the disabled traveler. Beyond that, Craig was a lovely host and promptly answered any questions we sent him!
10 out of 10 would recommend!
This was the perfect place to stay visiting Washington DC. The house had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Craig was a great host. Even had a bike helmet for my granddaughter so we could ride. We hated leaving. We will be back more to see and will definitely stay here.
Craig was nice & easy to work with. His place is as described. The Queen bed sits up high, so people who are shorter or have mobility issues, may need to use a different one. He does have a dog if anyone’s allergic or uncomfortable.
The cottage was everything we needed for our disabled 15 year old daughter. The roll in shower with spray nozzle and the roomy screened porch were among our favorite features. We would definitely stay here again if in the DC area!
Our daughter, son-in-law and new baby moved to Rockville. This property is in a great location and was perfect for our needs over the holidays. Craig is a great host and responded quickly to any needs or questions we had. Beds were comfortable and the cottage was clean. We will back and are looking forward making use of the screened in porch. Thanks Craig!
Location was better than expected. No traffic or pedestrian noise. The homeowners were more than respectful. They were willing to come and show us how to operate the gas fireplace.
Place is handicapped ready. Shower, doorways, and outside patio. We plan on working with them again.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
Beautiful, clean house
The property matches the photos - clean & updated. The owner was very kind and accommodating. Self-check-in and consistent outdoor lighting (for airing dogs) would make this a 5 star rental.
