Other things to note Early check-ins & late checkouts are not permitted primarily because of liability policy; however, if clearly stated in the message thread that the host has agreed to allow a guest early check-in/late check-out, then coverage is applicable.
Friendly large breed GLD roams at will yet can be penned if required.
420 Friendly. Outside only, please!
Guests of all races, faiths, genders & sexual orientations are welcomed. We respect neurodiversity and inclusion.
Our space is located deep in the countryside. Though we treat the exterior to keep out pests including insects and mice, this is a reality of nature. Our space may not be a fit for those who are extremely phobic of these and other wildlife.
Guests should be aware that the forest is home to many creatures great and small. Some of the tiny ones may get into the house from time to time.
NO REFUNDS will be granted because someone encountered or heard a bear, coyote, fox, spider, fly, wasp, a mouse, rat, or a snake, etc. There is no extra charge for the full nature experience!
A signed liability waiver for use of the E-bikes is required for each operator.
Trails, property boundary lines & pasture signage in place.
Please respect the boundary lines to avoid trespassing on neighboring lands. This is important as game hunters are territorial creatures and we don't want you getting shot!

We do not offer weather related refunds outside of our cancellation policy so you may wish to purchase trip cancellation insurance for your travels in case you do need to cancel last minute.

This was a perfect spot for my husband and I to stay for a wedding at the Comus Inn. The surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful, and the Simon Suite had many thoughtful touches. Juanita was very responsive and provided everything we needed. We especially loved the electric fireplace and the projection tv. Absolutely recommend!

We enjoyed our overnight adventure. We hiked all the trails, did some hot tubbing and relaxed in the chairs overlooking a beautiful vista. Thank you, Juanita!

Had a wonderful stay! Was attending my Mother's funeral and this was the perfect spot to stop and meditate on her and her life and the fullness of that life. Juanita is responsive and helps her visitors tremendously- I hope to be back, soon.

Laura, I’m so glad you chose our farm to stay, relax & reflect on all your Mum gave you. Sincerest condolences anew on this great loss to you and yours. We look forward to your return. Juanita & Zeus 🐾
Room was super cute, with a lot of amenities that you’d find in a hotel. The property was gorgeous, peaceful, and secluded. We loved being able to enjoy the grounds with our dogs without worrying about traffic or people or them getting lost. The tennis ball was a great detail, and Zeus is a gentle giant. The rescued barn animals are sweet and adorable and we love that staying here helps support that work. We will be back.

Thank you so much for this great review! It was such a pleasure to host you. Zeus and I look forward to your return. 🙂.
I was looking for a peaceful stay with a gorgeous view, free from the hustle and bustle of the Baltimore/DC area, to recover from a busy tax season. I got exactly what I wanted. The view was perfect, and I wish I had booked additional nights as I did not get to experience the amenity I specifically booked for--the hot tub. With the view the hot tub provides, a sunset experience is needed in a future stay.

Such a pleasure to meet you both, albeit briefly. Well, you’ll simply have to return & get into the tub!!! Thank you for this lovely review. 💛.
Juanita & Zeus were such a pleasure and very accommodating. The suite was clean, the property beautiful and watching the sunset over the mountain in the hot tub was amazing.

Juanita was an excellent host, very communicative and attentive to any guest's needs. The property has horses and dogs that love to visit, and a beautiful trail to hike through a wooded area. The room itself was clean, quiet, and had all we needed.

Paul & Molly, It was an absolute pleasure to host you. Your offer of assistance with your hearing-impaired neighbor’s (adjacent suite) “gender reveal” was touching, as well as your kindness to the horses. We look forward to your return. Juanita & Zeus 😊🐾
This was a wonderful trip! Upon pulling in we decided to stop at the barn, Katie greeted us and gave us a tour of all the farm friends. Juanita met us at check in of the suite, she went above and beyond. She brought Zeus out to meet our dog as well (a dog as large as he is delightful, we loved seeing him roaming around the property). In all of our experiences travelling, we’ve never had a host so kind and communicative. The hiking trails were a pleasure to walk, and the hot tub offered a beautiful view of the sunset. The unit we stayed in we clean, classily decorated, and cozy. We will be returning to explore more of the trails soon! Thank you again for everything Juanita
Beautiful property. As listed the hot tub was ready for use! Beautiful dogs, Zeus was especially friendly. Great for a quick trip out, the kitchen is more of a functional use only. Plan to have items for reheat in a microwave. Mini fridge available. Not too far from the sugarloaf winery and there's a great inn/restaurant about a mile away. The host was so friendly and a pleasure to work with. I plan on returning for a future visit.

Thank you very much for this lovely review. We look forward to hosting you all again!
We had a fabulous weekend getaway. The property was gorgeous. We enjoyed the green space and croquet, the pool, the hot tub, the fire, and hiking. Juanita is lovely. She’s available if you need her but doesn’t overshadow. We also enjoyed meeting other guests, but you control your level of interaction. Would definitely come back again.

Melinda! It was such a pleasure to meet and host you both. Croquet was so much fun. What a hoot! Looking forward to your return. Thanks for this great review! Juanita & Zeus 🐾
I shared during the reservation process that we were doing a quick couples getaway to celebrate my husbands birthday. When we arrived, we were greeted by both Juanita and Zeus and they were kind enough to wish him a happy birthday. When getting to the room there was even a birthday card. The room was incredibly clean, comfortable, and had everything & more for our visit. Great spot! Looking forward to visiting again.

Incredible Anniversary weekend! We booked for a quick anniversary getaway. The property is beautiful and secluded. Accommodations were just what we were looking for. Winery and beer garden within minutes. We caught the sunset both nights. A perfect view of Sugarloaf mountain. Unbelievable! We always looked forward to being greeted by Zeus:)
