The location of the cabin was absolutely perfect. Easy access to GSM park and downtown Gatlinburg. The pool access was wonderful and easy. The cabin was clean and spacious and the secure deck was great for kids and the dog.
The Terrell’s Stay at the Smokies Country Farmhouse
The cabin was super homey, had all essentials, a game room, nice outside decks and seating areas, a nice size jacuzzi, and was very clean and well kept.
Property was well kept, clean cabin, plenty of space. I stayed with my 3 girl friends for our annual girls trip to relax, and we did just that. Would definitely recommend this cabin to others!
This property met every expectation. It was specious, yet cozy and had every amenity we could ask for. The furniture was comfortable and the decor was charming. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Gatlinburg.
Our group had an amazing time at the cabin. We loved being so close to town and the park. The place was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy our week. We even saw bears every morning! Geri was a great hostess and would come back!
We had a great stay at the County Farmhouse. We have three teenagers and we were all super comfortable and had Plenty of space. We enjoyed some quality time playing pool and loved the hot tub. We were very close to downtown and had a great day at Ober Mountain. Great location!
This was a beautiful cabin.. We enjoyed everything from the scenery to the activities downtown.. Geri was an amazing host and I will definitely be booking again when I’m back in town.. Overall you made our anniversary very special.. Thank You!!!
House layout was perfect for our four adults and two dogs. Location was great and decor made the house very welcoming. Overall the house was in great shape and the owner responded to an inquiry immediately.
directions we easy to follow.small incline up to the flat driveway.we did have a bear and cub experience right next to the hottub and then the grill , that was cool. we made it feel like home.the steps got tiresome after awhile, so if your not into steps this is not the place for you.cabin was what i expected, no need to bother host's on our trip.
The home was as described. Very good place to stay. Had a problem with bears getting into my car and took food. I saw 9 bears in 3 days. One, up close and personal. Don’t leave anything edible unattended and lock your car doors.
Great cabin! Enjoyable stay! And you can see the bears!
We had a wonderful time in the mountains. As always Geri's cabins don't disappoint. The cabin is decorated in Geri's style, all comfy and cozy.
We had some rain while we were there but there is so much to do in around the cabin that we didn't even realize how the weather was.
We would definitely recommend this cabin and any of her others to anyone looking for a great getaway. We have been to several already and are planning our next getaway to one of her cabins. Hope everyone gives them a try. They won't be disappointed.

Well, well, Michael…I do think we have some things to talk about & straighten out the truth from your whoppers! You may not have noticed, but I have security cameras overlooking the driveway & you arrived in my driveway at 4:12. You messaged me & said there was a car in the driveway at which time I told you that the cabin was CLEAN & READY FOR YOU & the car belonged to the housekeeper who was still there trying to get the internet to work for you, that we later discovered was an area-wide outage. I saw you go inside the cabin at 4:13, NOT AN HOUR LATER LIKE YOU CLAIMED. But YOU COULD HAVE GONE INSIDE A CLEAN CABIN AT 4PM IF YOU HAD ARRIVED AT 4PM, but you didn’t. It's time for a new watch purchase, Michael.
Now I want to talk about your remark, “some yellow substance was all over the bathroom floors.” Talk about exaggerating! The small stain is embedded in the vinyl in the upstairs half-bath & cannot be removed, not something spilled & dirty as you would like to make it appear. All the floors were sparkling clean. BTW……did you notice the boxes of NEW tile there in the cabin? FYI, the new tile is scheduled to be installed in the half bath as soon as we have a vacant day, because that small stain cannot be removed.
No, Michael, hot water is not instant in a 6-person hot tub that has just been cleaned & refilled with 475 gallons of cold water. It takes time…. Imagine that. The average time would be 6 to 8 hours.
Now, about the water pressure…. Since I never heard anything about that while you were there, am I safe to assume that it only started bothering you when you were writing your review? FYI, the water pressure is controlled by Gatlinburg City Water Service. There has never been an issue that the water pressure was low at this cabin from any other guest…JUST FROM YOU! . I own the cabin right beside this one, and they had plenty of water pressure. In fact, my other 2 cabins on the same road, all within a ¼ mile from this one, also had plenty of water pressure. Then you say the pool table was in complete “dis repair”? Really? Wonder why none of my previous guests ever mentioned that?
Michael, please show me anywhere on my VRBO listing that indicates coffee is furnished…. Oh, you can’t? No, you certainly cannot! My listing plainly states “Regular coffee maker & Keurig, bring you coffee”
Now about the internet outage…I told you there was an AREA OUTAGE. Your exact reply was (copied & pasted)…. “Ok that’s fine it doesn’t affect us to much, thanks for the update. “ So, does that mean that that also started bothering you when writing your review. LOL I have NO CONTROL whatsoever over an internet outage. You know, it's kinda the same situation at your home when there is an internet problem…you do nothing but wait! There were hundreds of people without internet & many without power for days, area-wide.
MY, my Michael….. there are sure lots of inconsistencies (whoppers) in your review that I just could not let go of without calling you out on them, or would your review have more to do with money? You know, a charge for all the extra people you tried to bring the day before your reservation, or maybe about the charge for your 75-pound dog that you conveniently forgot to mention when you made your reservation? Just courteous & just asking?
And, your statement, “by far the least accommodating place we have book to date” Wait…What? Where are all your glowing reviews from the other places you have booked? I see NONE…. only MY low rating of you.
