Stayed here for a weekend getaway. The place was clean and very peaceful. If you’re looking for a place away from the crowded areas (Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge) but still close enough with a 30-45 min drive this is the place!! Only complaint is the grill listed could definitely use an upgrade as it is very old and rusted. The hot tub could also use a GOOD DEEP clean to it.Overall a great stay. Everything else was very clean and there’s a decent size town 10 mins down the road that has great food options/ shopping!
Wonderful place for two to get away! Easy acess to all surrounding mountain areas in TN and NC if you need to get out! Perfect for just staying in though! Hot tub and fire fit were fantastic ways to relax and enjoy quiet time. Lots of intentional set up here, which was appreciated!
I had my first solo trip and this cabin was just perfect. So quiet and quaint. I loved the interior and the bed just so comfy. I will definitely return on future trips with my husband
We loved our stay at this little cabin. Just enough privacy to enjoy a beautiful view from the front porch! Close enough to the mountains to be able to enjoy God’s beauty! Several delicious restaurants to try as well. The host was quick to respond and very helpful! We would stay again! :)
We really liked the retro/modern appliances and fixtures, as well as the super-comfortable bed. The studio floor plan works well for couples. Loved the dark skies at night (if desired). Cabin is at the edge of the woods some distance up from the pond, which provides a high degree of privacy and a beautiful natural setting.
If your vision is a tranquil quaint cabin on the edge of a lake, then look elsewhere as this isn’t it. I think this is a solid cabin located in an area to where it’s easy to get anywhere. Is away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg yet close enough to go there if that’s your thing. Amenities were excellent when they were new, several years ago. But the years have taken its toll and needs a refresh if it wants to retain its “5 Star” ranking. The good:* Bed is comfortable and water pressure is good. * The fire pit area is pretty good and in decent condition. * Front porch area with rocking chairs is pretty great in the mornings with your morning coffee * does have washer dryer and in good working orderThe not so good:* although surface clean really needs a deep clean. Looks like enough dust to grow a plant in the exhaust fan at eye level in the bathroom* advertises a grill. Has holes in the bottom and really needs an upgrade for the price charged on a per night basis. * hot tub is cloudy and just icky* bug catchers were just full and downright gross hanging on the edges of the porch * just a lot of things not operable. Security sensor lights broken. Lights to the firepit coiled up and broken under the deck instead of hanging up Not terrible but not terribly impressed either.

I couldn't find the door code in my VRBO trip. The pond that was advertised has now dried up. We had one bowl and one plate to eat off. The stove worked, but the oven didn't. We purchased a pizza from the grocery store and ended up throwing it away. The fridge is leaking at the bottom, and from that issue, you can tell the house is actually leaning and not plumb. And lastly, I picked up a full handful of broken glass and an old piece of rusty metal from around the hot tub where people are certainly going to be bear-foot. Other than all that, the trip was great!
We would rate this cabin the best we have ever rented. It's perfect for a couple's get away. Kitchen is well stocked with all
the utensils and appliances one would need. There were plenty of clean towels and paper products. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with morning coffee watching the geese and birds around the pond. Though there are some houses in the area you can't see them from the cabin and they were far enough away you couldn't hear anyone. You really get the feeling of seclusion and quiet. Dustin was a gracious host and was quickly available to answer any questions. We would highly recommend this property

Thank you for your kind words! Hope you made some great memories.
I am always skeptical using these booking apps, because you never know what the neighborhood will be like. I was pleasantly surprised at the location of this property. It was secluded and quiet with the exception of the soothing sound of frogs croaking in the nearby pond. The cabin was nestled into a hillside surrounded by tall pines and moss covered rocks.
The front porch boasted two wooden rocking chairs, which were perfect for enjoying coffee while listening to the wind and the frogs.
Inside was just as lovely with a calming natural aesthetic. There were plenty of utensils and we were not lacking anything we needed. The bed was plush, yet firm, allowing us to dream comfortably. The A/C and heating unit worked perfectly. The bathroom was spacious and functional.
Bring your own bathroom toiletries. Dishwasher soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets were on the property. Ground coffee, pour over coffee maker, salt, pepper, dishes, and paper products like paper towels and toilet paper are on property.
My husband is 6’5”, and he could not stand upright in the shower or at the bathroom sink, as the ceiling in the bathroom slants. Otherwise, no complaints.
We absolutely adore this cabin so much, we plan to build one similar to it for us at home.
If you love nature, peace, and solitude, you will fall in love with this piece of Heaven.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lost Lake Lodge. The property was very cute and the location felt very private. It was easy to relax on the rockers on the front porch. Two areas for improvement from my view. 1. The Wi-Fi was not usable which normally would not be a big deal but I was suppose to finish some work during our trip and was unable to do that at the cabin and this also rendered the television useless. That wouldn’t stop me from booking again, I just wish I had known. The other surprise was that the bathroom door was not a full door. The top 20% of the door was open, my partner and I prefer a bit more privacy when using the facilities if you know what I mean. I would still absolutely book this cabin again, but felt those two things should be mentioned because I would’ve liked to know those things before I rented the first time. Overall it was a great home base for our trip. We visited Knoxville, Gatlinburg, Pigeons Forge, Foothills Parkway (10 minutes away) and the Great Smoky mountains National Park. We saw plenty of deer, birds and squirrels through the 4 glass doors that run along the front of the cabin and the blinds were easy to close at the end of the night when it was time for bed. My now fiancé and I would both felt that the rental was a value for the money. The host was very accessible and got back to us pretty quickly.
Host-excellent: fulfilled requests, great communication, awesome local restaurant suggestions
Cabin-divine: secluded, quaint, comfort, all amenities you could need, plus nature!!!
Highly recommend 10/10
Will rent again!
