Welcome to the Overlook House (Lic 3229), the house of many peaks! Perched high above the town of Estes Park, this beautiful house boasts panoramic views of the snow-covered Mummy Range and the Continental Divide. Nestled among boulders and Ponderosa pines, the house itself is a delightful mountain getaway, just two miles from downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Fully appointed with comfortable furnishings and useful household amenities, we want you to feel at home on your mountain vacation in Estes Park.

The Overlook House offers a full kitchen with a sunny breakfast nook, a wood burning fireplace in the spacious living and dining area, washer/dryer, jetted tub, 2 satellite televisions, hi-speed wireless, 2 VCR/DVD units, gas grill, 4 balconies with great views and a fabulous patio deck built into the rocks with hot tub. Three bathrooms: full, 3/4 and half. Three private bedrooms: master bedroom on the third floor with a king bed, one king bedroom on the first floor and one queen bedroom with a twin/double bunk bed, also on the first floor. The open loft has a double sleeper couch, providing a total of six separate beds (of varying sizes). The house is just two miles from downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Discounts given for 2 people and less. Please contact us to make sure all questions are answered before booking. I will try to respond as quickly as possible. Beautiful cabin with lots of space

We had a nice time at this beautiful cabin with amazing views. We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room for all. The home was clean and supplied with linens, trash bags, blow dryer, 2 box fans. It is in a perfect location .. so near to RMNP and to downtown Estes Park shops and dining.

Lovely views!

Such pretty views, 15 min from downtown. Very comfortable, love the wood burning fireplace and hot tub. just 2 of us but lots of beds in one bedroom that would be great for kids. Ask if you need to buy Keurig pods as they have a Keurig but no pods. No staples like spices or sugar except salt. Just fyi, would come back!

Best view of the Rockies

Large house, plenty of beds and plumbing , room for parents plus grown kids and partners. Easy to get in and out of RMNP. The house has plenty of space, fully equipped kitchen, deck with spectacular mtn views, hot tub. Owners gave clear directions and keep this vacation home in meticulous care.

Unparalleled views, privacy, accommodations, and beauty!!!

Don’t think twice about booking this fantastic home perched on top of the rocks with breathtaking views of the mountains, valleys, and all that nature has to offer. Everything was exceptionally clean, everything in great working order, and the hosts were fast and thorough with their communication and information/instructions about our stay. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful setting, but still want to be just minutes from town, this is your place. Book it and enjoy it!

The most wonderful VRBO

We spent a week with our son and family in your beautiful home. The six of us couldn’t have been happier! There was plenty of room for us to either do “our own thing” or play board games or dine together. The home was supplied with nearly everything we needed plus some. We made daily use of the hot tub and never stopped enjoying the spectacular views. We really appreciated the location - close to town and to the entrance to the park. We’d highly recommend this home to any couples or families looking for a home base convenient to so many outdoor actives!

Great vacation!

We stayed at Overlook House in August. The house exceeded our expectations: fabulous views from nearly every window, comfortable furniture inside, large dining table for family dinners, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful deck and a hot tub with views! The property is clean, well-maintained, and has quality furnishings. Great location for access to hiking trails and RMNP. Easy to get into town, but we loved the peacefulness of being outside of town. The owner was extremely accommodating. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful

As soon as you enter the home, you are amazed by the unbelievable views! We have been visiting Estes for 9 years, staying in nice accommodations, but this home is by far the most beautiful! The views from inside this immaculate home are wonderful but you also have the choice of several decks to enjoy. We hope to return soon!

Perfect vacation!

Everything about our stay at this beautiful house was exceptional! My sister, daughter and I spent one glorious week in Estes, hiking during the days and spending the evenings in the hot tub taking in the glorious views. The house was extremely clean, the beds very comfortable and we had everything we could have needed. Communication was great. Dean responded immediately to any questions we had and when we had a slight issue (my fault), he arrived within 15 minutes to fix the problem. Views were stunning! Would absolutely rent again!

A great location in Estes.

The house is beautiful and is truly in a great location. The views of the valley were stunning. Nice hot tub on the deck. Kitchen was well stocked. Due to it’s remote location it is a bit of a drive up the mountain side but that location was our favorite part. There was ongoing road construction at the time so we had park a ways down the road for a few nights. Dean made sure we knew what was going on and the construction did not impact our stay. It was a good choice for our week in the mountains. I would gladly stay there again.

Don’t think twice book

Dean was very responsive and their home is very comfortable and functional For a large group with 3 floors for privacy and multiple decks. But the greatest feature is the unbelievable view that can be seen from Many rooms and windows. House is located at the top of a mountain road with panoramic view of the Rockies and the town of Estes Park way below. It’s beautiful.

Mountain Top Views

A bit pricey but very comfortable accommodations. The new garage was a bonus and made turning around very easy. The property manager was outstanding and responded immediately to a window issue caused by high winds. The deck was beautifully nestled in the rocks and pines. I would suggest removing the dead pine by the deck and trimming the two in front to open up the view. The hot tub was hot and sparkling although we did not use it.

Beautiful property!

This place was beautiful. I don’t believe the pictures do it justice. We had a lovely time. It was extremely clean! :) There are a few things which could either be improved, or if we just had a heads up, we could have planned better. There aren’t any seasonings at all in the kitchen, so if you plan to cook, bring/purchase all your seasonings. There also wasn’t any shampoo/conditioner/body soap, so bring your own. I know we travel often and lately these things have been provided, so not every one of our 7 adults had packed their own. Also, the WiFi was spotty at best. We had to reach out to ask the owner to reset it, but we didn’t have any service, so it was very tricky to be able to reach out. If needing to work at all, this likely isn’t the best option. Beautiful, secluded, which is most of what we were going for. But our office was unable to get ahold of me for the entirety of our stay. The hot tub was lovely to sit out under the stars in. We greatly enjoyed using it (after everyone showered)! There was only one outdoor trash can, and with 7 adults who ate there for most of the meals and we brought in groceries etc. it wasn’t enough space. I was bummed we had to leave a couple bags inside! DoorDash and Instacart do deliver there though! I was shocked.

Best View of Continental Divide you Can Imagine

This condo is absolutely wonderful, the decks are beautiful, the location is very private and it’s so convenient. The living room furniture is a little worn, But in the whole scheme of things who cares!

Great private mountain retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and glad we chose this place. We spent most of our time on the deck and in the hot tub. Great views, comfortable place. No complaints. Easy quick drive into town, but tucked away enough to feel secluded and enjoy the privacy of your own mountain getaway. The starry sky was incredible.

Wonderful property

Estes Park is a great vacation destination - for the stunning scenery and hiking found in Rocky Mountain National Park, as well as for the unique experience of the town of Estes Park, where families enjoy the unique shops, restaurants and area attractions.

What makes this property unique

Views, Views and then some more Continental Divide Views. This Home is unique even to Estes Park with its location on a ridge half way up Prospect Mountain. Elk, deer, bobcat, coyote and bear frequent the area. Enjoy all of this while relaxing in the hot tub on the private deck. At the Overlook House, you are minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park, as well as the town of Estes Park.
