Power Outage - No Discount or Refund

Despite multiple days without power the host/owner Vacasa would not provide even a partial refund. Very disappointing.

Houston Heights Townhome

Lovely home and great location! Beds in 2 of the guestrooms were short and small so tough for tall adults. Gorgeous kitchen and plenty of space to spread out!

Refund required

What a mess. Arrived at property to find a notice from the gas company that it had been turned off for failure to pay. So go into the house and no hot water and no heat. We are hosting a rehearsal and dinner for our son’s wedding the next day. Contact local office, they say the gas will be on tomorrow but no idea when. So we are stuck with no heat for a cold night and cold showers while trying to get ready. While hosting rehearsal dinner, I’m pulled away to deliver a key, which I was told they wouldn’t need, to the gas guy. I’m there in 10 minutes but he’s gone, never to be seen again. So we come back at 10 pm and have to move to the other side of Houston. New place is not as nice, well away from where we needed to be, and to top it off, an active train line runs just behind the back fence. So we are awakened several times over the next couple of days by trains at all hours. Still trying to get a refund for at least the first night. Totally unacceptable.
