Amazing home and property. So peaceful and the perfect place to enjoy a quiet weekend. I wish I could have stayed longer as it was hard to leave. Property manager (Jennifer) was easy to reach and great to work with.
We enjoyed a lovely week at Amansaukee - a beautiful home in a beautiful location. The house was extremely well kept and comfortable, perfect for a family get away.
We spent a week at this beautiful property and had a wonderful time. The host was easy to communicate with and responsive when needed. The house was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, perfect for our group of 10 adults and 6 children. We really enjoyed swimming, fishing, boating, and making use of the boathouse with a rental pontoon. Each day we shared big home-cooked meals and spent quality time together as a family, enjoying the various sitting areas, game room, and fire pit. We’ve rented several large homes throughout the Lake Winnipesaukee region, and this was truly one of my favorite family vacations yet.
Our family time at Amansaukee was fabulous. The beautiful house met all of our needs. There were many comfortable spaces for everyone to enjoy their time indoors and outdoors. It was perfect for a family of 10 to have a wonderful vacation.
My group and I had an excellent stay! The house and surroundings are some of the best I’ve ever experienced. The view of the lake and sunset were amazing. It made the weekend.
Spent one week here in this beautiful home. Has everything as advertised, and home and property are immaculate. Owner Eric and property manager Jennifer helpful and efficient. Entire family loved this property and had a great vacation.
The property is absolutely gorgeous the wood detail in the home is amazing and the grounds and views can't be beat! My family and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the home and look forward to staying there again!
Plenty of room and accessories. The outside view is gorgeous and creates a beautiful sunset. Our family was here in the winter so I can’t comment on summer. Fun time.
Beautiful house, beautiful location, amazing views! The lake view was stunning and the house was spacious yet cozy. We had everything we needed! The adults loved the comfortable family room with a view and the kids loved exploring and playing in the game room and bunk room. Felt like a home away from home.
We had a very relaxing stay. Kids loved the water front with paddle boarding and swimming but especially the fishing. They caught several large mouth bass which was excising for them. Boat house was great for getting on and off the water with our rental boat. Melvin Marina was great.
We are looking forward to next year!
Eric’s home was unbelievable and we’re so fortunate we were able to have our family gathering there! We were able to go boating all weekend and and just step off the boat right into the property. Eric was helpful through the whole process we hope we can come back for many years to come.
This property is beautiful. The setting is hard to beat - incredible views, thoughtful landscaping, beautiful architecture. We were blown away, and just thankful that the owner chose to share this property with us. The fall colors were beautiful and we felt privacy and calmness throughout our stay. The house is well equipped and felt personal and cozy - could not have asked for more.
One of the best rental experiences of my life. The property is truly special and something that our party will remember for the rest of our lives. The owner could not have been more helpful or accommodating, nor could the premises have been more beautiful and scenic.
Our stay was was nothing short of amazing. The grounds and home are impeccable. The details in this home are truly special and you can clearly see the time and care that has gone into this haven. We had a large group of parents and children and everyone was at peace and had a lovely time. We were able to have our boat with us and travel the lake so very easily. We certainly would love to come back next year!
We have been vacationing in the Alton/Wolfeboro area for over 40 years and this trip was one of our best. The house has everything you could need, and the views and backyard were fantastic! Even on rainy days the game room ensured that we had fun. There was lots of space for everyone. We rented a boat for the week and the boat house and dock were great to use. The property manager and host were attentive and helpful. Definitely have 5 star vacation!
We were total 10 people and there was still plenty of space for 4-5 more people to stay. The property was clean and view was absolutely gorgeous. There is plenty of games to keep you occupied indoors as well. The property was perfect of quite getaway with friends and family. Will recommend it 10/10

Why they chose this property
Grew up with family who loved water and winter sports and vacationed on lakes, oceans and mountains. Dreamed of our own family place one day. In August 1998, while returning keys to Wolfeboro realtor following a summer rental with family, I asked if there was a flat lakefront parcel with deep water access and stunning views for sale. Got "Just took such a listing today. Lets take you and family to see it now". Drove out an old logging road to heavily wooded lot. We all ran to the waterfront to see the full lake, the 'Broads' and the distant Belknap and White Mountain Ranges. We signed a purchase agreement that day. We all helped clear the lot for the house (sort of) and we planned the timber framed house and boathouse with my father. His and our family dream home. Was lucky to retain one of the Lakes Region's premier builders. Completed house in 2001.
What makes this property unique
Within this unique timber frame home, witness the dramatic weather changes between these two mountain ranges over the four seasons. Feel the sun and the hear the wind, the rain and snow, the roar of the big waves crashing on the shoreline. See the pristine waters and the sparkling reflections of the sun and moon as you spin through the universe. Watch for the wildlife - loons, ducks, bald eagles, seagulls, turkeys, rabbits, fisher, fox, coyote, black bear, deer, bobcat, otter, beaver, trout, bass, sunfish and more. All around you. Feel the security and safety from this window into nature with all its comforts.
