Why they chose this property
Grew up with family who loved water and winter sports and vacationed on lakes, oceans and mountains. Dreamed of our own family place one day. In August 1998, while returning keys to Wolfeboro realtor following a summer rental with family, I asked if there was a flat lakefront parcel with deep water access and stunning views for sale. Got "Just took such a listing today. Lets take you and family to see it now". Drove out an old logging road to heavily wooded lot. We all ran to the waterfront to see the full lake, the 'Broads' and the distant Belknap and White Mountain Ranges. We signed a purchase agreement that day. We all helped clear the lot for the house (sort of) and we planned the timber framed house and boathouse with my father. His and our family dream home. Was lucky to retain one of the Lakes Region's premier builders. Completed house in 2001.
What makes this property unique
Within this unique timber frame home, witness the dramatic weather changes between these two mountain ranges over the four seasons. Feel the sun and the hear the wind, the rain and snow, the roar of the big waves crashing on the shoreline. See the pristine waters and the sparkling reflections of the sun and moon as you spin through the universe. Watch for the wildlife - loons, ducks, bald eagles, seagulls, turkeys, rabbits, fisher, fox, coyote, black bear, deer, bobcat, otter, beaver, trout, bass, sunfish and more. All around you. Feel the security and safety from this window into nature with all its comforts.
