Very nice property, amenities were perfect for a small group of adults. Just pay attention to the property owners location instructions....don't follow Google Maps!

So glad you enjoyed your visit, Vincent!! Thank you for highlighting the necessity to follow our welcome guide directions. Cell service can be spotty in Northern Michigan and Google Maps aren't always accurate with the winding roads in Chippewa Cove Woods. Happy to host you again sometime!
Very enjoyable stay, well stocked kitchen and gorgeous beach with easy access. Beds were comfortable and owner very responsive! Private, remote neighborhood, we loved seeing the eagles a few times. I recommend this property for a northern MI getaway.
This lovely home in Good Hart was the perfect spot to unwind and celebrate our friends retirement. We all commented on how well appointed the home was, there absolutely everything we needed. Don't miss the sunsets they are spectacular!!

The sunsets on Lake Michigan are definitely spectacular, we're so glad you enjoyed your stay Melissa! Happy to host you again sometime.
Everything was really wonderful... the house was clean and well stocked, being right by the water was great. The one thing that would prevent us from staying there again was the road getting in and out of the complex. It was not safe.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay, Eileen!! Being on Lake Michigan is our absolute favorite part. In regards to the road leading into our property, it is indeed fairly narrow and somewhat steep as it descends from the high bluff, as many developments do in this area, but I assure you it is entirely safe. Chippewa Cove Woods has been in existence since the early 1900's as an artist's refuge and currently has a permanent resident plus many seasonal residents, guests and renters and the road has been traversed without incident (even by large delivery trucks!) although it can be intimidating at first. We would happily host you again.
This was a perfect stay for us! The cottage was the perfect size for our family! It was stocked with everything you could need!! The kayaks and paddleboards were the icing on the cake!! Tucked in the woods, right on the beach! Perfect!
This is the most well stocked kitchen we’ve seen in our travels. Nice quiet spot with direct beach access. We used the provided paddle boards and kayaks. Water entry was rocky so bring water shoes… but everything else is provided!
First family vacation to Michigan and it was amazing. This cottage is so cute and has all the amenities. The beach tops any other beach we've been on,we had the beach to ourselves all week.Only wish water wouldve been a little warmer. We enjoyed kayaking, fires at night on the deck, playing games and looking for stones. Its a perfect spot for day trips to Mackinac,Harbor Springs,Petoskey and more.Would highly recomend.
We’ve rented many homes before, this felt much more like staying at a friend's cabin. They have gone above and beyond with the amount and quality of amenities - fluffy towels, comfortable beds, stocked cookware, clean appliances, firewood (with starter and matches), beach chairs and towels, and a lot of really great reads sprinkled thought the cabin. Truly a gem. The beach is private and gorgeous. You can’t beat a Lake Michigan!

Once again it was a lovely week at this picture perfect cabin. The kitchen is filled with everything needed to cook, beds comfortable, the deck inviting after a long day on the beach. You will not be disappointed with the location; beautiful and quiet with a walkable sandy beach. We highly recommend this lake house!

Enjoyed a relaxing, quiet get away right on Lake Michigan. Beautiful sunset views, nice clean beach, and quiet setting. Enjoyed our stay very much. Clean, roomy, and comfortable. Kitchen very well stocked. Communication with owner was great. Loved our time here!
House has literally everything you need! Great location, great communication from owner and the house is so well kept. Access to the beach was outstanding and the beach is lovely. Location is nice for reaching those farther north Michigan spots.

Great house, great location. Perfect for our family ranging from 12 to 75. Peaceful and beautiful beach that was mostly deserted. This is the 4th year we've stayed at this house and the owners have made a lot of nice improvements to enhance your stay. Hoping to rent again next summer!

What a unique property! We've rented other properties in the area and this, by far has been the best. Secluded spot with a beautiful, sandy beach. We stayed over the fourth and had a great time. The house has everything you need for a great stay. We used the paddleboards and kayaks and cooked a lot in the kitchen. Log cabin feel but with all the modern amenities you'd need. We absolutely would stay again.

So glad you enjoyed your stay!! We'd welcome you back anytime!
Our family throughly enjoyed this lovely property located on a beautiful sandy beach with an added bonus of being able to see the beach from the deck. Every day was filled with swimming, conversation, building sand castles and if the lake was calm, kayaking. The house itself is thoughtfully decorated, stocked with all the essentials and the host easy to contact if the need arises. An absolutely beautiful perfect beach house!

Thank you for the kind review! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay!
We had a wonderful time, great beach days, and were impressed with the high quality and thoughtful choices the the hosts made with the furnishings, beds, linens, towels, kitchen tools… even everything needed for the beach! The view of the lake is gorgeous. The beach is large and would be ample even in high lake years. The short walk to the beach is easy and nicely updated/ maintained for adults and kids to navigate. The location is great for good hart, cross village, and harbor springs visits!
Absolutely beautiful wooded, Lake Michigan home rental! Ideal for our family of five (w/ college-aged children & friends). Beautifully decorated, cozy, and really well-equipped-- from the kitchen, the furniture, bedding to the beach items. We've stayed at many rentals and this is by far the best equipped for quality and items. Quiet deck and secluded beach made for the perfect getaway. We also loved our day trips for golf, dinner, vineyards, and Mackinac Island. Highly recommend!

About the host
Hosted by Julie Buurstra
Our family resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan and enjoys vacationing around the country but especially in northern Michigan. There is just something special about the slower pace and tranquil beauty that keeps us coming back year after year. We finally invested in a place of our own and are pleased to share it with you. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We love the rustic atmosphere with modern amenities at the edge of the most amazing of Great Lakes-Lake Michigan. The beach and crystal clear water can't be beat. Our family also loves to ski and with two great locations (Nubs Nob & the Highlands) just miles away it is a great property year round.
What makes this property unique
Secluded and quiet, but just off the beaten path. Unwind with the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and sleep well under dark star-filled skies. Watch for deer freely roaming the grounds, and hopefully not eating the hostas. The beauty of the beach and the forest combined.
