About this property

Villa Shambala

Feel at home in this newly renovated, luxurious dream villa.

Right next to the entrance hall is the house's cozy library with an open fireplace, satellite and music system and free Wi-Fi.

Here you can relax and unwind.

The dining area is directly connected by steps to the comfortably furnished living area.

The villa has 3 very large, tastefully furnished bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom.

Some of the bedrooms have direct access to the pool.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances.

A guest toilet is available.

All rooms are connected to the underfloor air conditioning (charged according to consumption) and heating.

The garden, which has grown over the years, has been stylishly planted with lawn, palm trees and native plants. There is a small pond, a rock garden and various seating areas.

From the covered terrace you have a view of the pool and the well-tended garden.

You can also enjoy the beautiful roof terrace with brick barbecue and outdoor kitchen, which offers a wonderful view of the Atlantic.

The kidney-shaped pool is surrounded by a terrace equipped with sun loungers and parasol. There is also a bathroom in the outdoor area. Pool heating and air conditioning are charged according to consumption.

In the months of November to March, electricity (28 cents / KWh) and water (2,- € / m³) are charged according to consumption.

The surrounding area

Praia do Carvalho beach, also known as "Smugglers' Bay", is just a 5-minute walk away.

Carvoeiro is 5 minutes away by car.

Various golf courses and tennis courts, supermarkets, doctors' practices and all other amenities can also be reached in 5 to 10 minutes by car.

Sehr schöne große Villa

Wir waren zu viert mit Freunden in der Villa Shambala. Harald Wittmann, der das Haus betreut, war immer erreichbar, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist sehr groß, sodass es genügend Platz für 6 Personen gibt. Im Wohnzimmer gab es einen großen Fernseher mit allen deutschen Programmen. In der neuen Küche sind alle Geräte, die man braucht. Im neuen Hauswirtschaftsraum ist eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner, Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und hat einen super schönen Pool. Wir würden zu der Jahreszeit empfehlen, den Pool heizen zu lassen, das Wasser hatte dann 28 Grad, herrlich! Wir haben uns in der Viila sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder. Direkt nebenan ist ein italienisches Restaurant, in dem wir zweimal sehr gut gegessen haben. Also von uns 100% Weiterempfehlung!

Entspannter Urlaub mit Komfort

Charmantes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit viel Platz - gut geeignet für 6 Erwachsene. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad. Die Küche ist gerade neu eingebaut worden und verfügt über alles, was man braucht. Die Größe des Hauses und des gut gepflegten Gartens mit altem Baumbestand schafft eine sehr angenehme Urlaubsatmosphäre.

A beautiful villa and a fabulous holiday

To be honest the villa was more luxurious than we expected or needed, but it was fabulous. It was huge with very large en-suite bedrooms. We didn't use the dining room or living room very much but everything was beautiful. The property has just had a new kitchen fitted, and the pool was clean and well-maintained. I would not hesitate in staying there again. Harald was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Spacious property but in need of further updating

We stayed in villa Shambala for 2 weeks in January. The communication with the manager, Harald, was excellent from the start. The house is very spacious and we had an comfortable stay overall, but the description on the website as 'newly renovated' is not correct. We were only told upon arrival that the kitchen was going to be replaced after our stay, so we had to deal with a kitchen that was very dated and various appliances that did not work. Harald dealt with the technical problems swiftly and to our satisfaction but we would not have booked the villa if we had known this in advance. The kitchen inventory also completely needs replacing. The cost of water and heating the property for 2 weeks (2 adults only) was exceptionally high. It takes several minutes to get hot water to the master bedroom so a lot of water is used to have a shower. The property has good potential but needs further work.

Beautiful villa with a great private pool

This is an exceptionally spacious villa, in a great location and right next door to a super Italian restaurant. The living room, kitchen and laundry are very well appointed and the three bedrooms and huge. Access to local amenities is very straightforward. The property manager Harald was always accessible and very helpful. The only serious disappointment was that our visit coincided with a lot of very noisy and constant construction work on an adjacent villa. Other than that negative we would definitely be back.
