Nettles Island is a gated resort community with 24/7 security and has a private beach with a large heated pool, restrooms, showers and a snack bar.

In the Nettles community there is a clubhouse with another large heated pool, hot tubs, exercise room, game room with pool table and ping-pong, miniature golf, basketball, racquetball and pickle ball courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes and a restaurant on site.

The island also has a boat launching ramp with beautiful water views.

Also located in Nettles Island are a marina, grocery store, hair salon and additional restaurant.

Public airports are West Palm(45 min), Fort Lauderdale(90 min) Miami(2 hours)and Orlando(2.5 hours).
