We enjoyed our stay, you need to give directions on using the stove. The address and driving directions were not clear. The view was spectacular and we are interested in renting again next year.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us and were able to enjoy the beauty of the mountains! If you are ever in the area again, we would love to have you visit again!
Good value, we would definitely come back. Even though you have to travel up a steep and winding mountain road, the location is just off a main road and really easy to find. The interior is beautiful, and the view is amazing. Everything is comfortable, but there was one thing that really stood out… the kitchen. So many times we have rented properties that were poorly stocked or had low quality cookware, like you’re lucky if you even get salt and pepper or the pans are falling apart. The cookware was good quality and had most of what you need, and there was a cabinet with several spices and cooking oils. There is even an extra spot of land on the side that is great for kids, because it backs up to a beautiful rock face and has a nice seating area. So all in all it had a beautiful interior, great seating areas, great fireplace and TV, above average kitchen and good location. The one thing it lacks is a hot tub that you don’t have to drive to, and taking trash to the community dumpster is a task. Everyone loved the place and had a great time!

Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled you enjoyed your stay and found our kitchen well-equipped. We're glad you appreciated the location and beautiful view. We hope to welcome you back soon!
This is a beautiful home with an absolutely incredible View. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay tremendously. My only suggestions would be for the management company to consolidate their check-in information into one document, not three separate emails. Also, providing only two kitchen trash bags for a five night stay for a family of 8 was not enough. I understand renters buying paper towels, foil, etc, but trash bags? Overall though, or stay was very nice.

Thank you for your review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We will be happy to pass the suggestion to the management company regarding their correspondence and the amount of supplies left. We would love to have you visit with us again if you are back in the High Country.
Four couples stayed here the week we volunteered at Samaritan's Purse. The house is beautiful and everything was clean. All the bedrooms were nice and the beds comfortable. The sitting area is very inviting and we spend time there every morning and evening. The kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes, utensils, and small appliances. We arrived during the 5" snowstorm of 12/8/2025. The road up to the gate had not been plowed yet. Same for the roads in the community. 4WD trucks were able to get to the house, but not an AWD Rav4. The roads were plowed by 5pm and everything was good. Just to say, they're not kidding when they say 4WD is 'recommended'. (We're from Pittsburgh, so no strangers to driving in snow.)Roads were well maintained for the rest of our stay.We also had very high winds on Wednesday night and the deck doors didn't seal very well and they whistled all night, but no issue keeping the house warm.Overall, this is a great house with a fantastic view of the valley.

Ski Weekend
Overall a nice home and floor plan. There were some cleanliness issues. Dead bugs ( stink bugs)on floors and in light fixtures and pink mold in master shower. Dirty and dusty wood blinds.
There needs to be more lighting on driveway for night arriving. The trash bins were quite a distance from the unit.
We enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed are stay here. The views were stunning. The house is situated up in the mountains. Driving up and down the tight windy roads was fun for most of us. The area is very private, quiet and 10-15 minutes away from everything. The house was spacious, gorgeous wrap around deck and nicely furnished. The kids loved the downstairs area, and loft like area upstairs. I would definitely stay here again but i would bring my own pillows and towels. The house needs some minor repairs, and a better cleaning crew.
The home is beautiful and the views speak for themselves. We were not happy about having to drive the trash to the dumpster each day. We also did not appreciate having to remove bedsheets, clean and put away all the dishes and clean the place before leaving. After all we were on vacation. I would not have minded loading everything into the dishwasher but I thought the check-out requirements were excessive, especially since we paid a cleaning fee.
Very nice home however, we were disappointed in two things:
1) there was NO offering for movie channels (Netflix, HBO, etc...)
2) the down stairs king bed mattress definitely needs replacing as it was VERY lumpy and VERY hard, this along with the downstairs shower tub drain needs some work as it did not drain well.
This house was so perfect for our two families. We were 2 families of 4 and we had plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved the bedroom on the third floor. The fireplace was wonderful. Nothing beats the view from the main living area with two comfortable rocking chairs for the adults to relax in. We were super close to Hawks Nest Snow Tubing place and a winery. Boone was a quick 20 min drive so you had full access to restaurants or other convenience needs. The house was beautifully decorated and appliances were up to date. We would definitely stay here again!
This house was exceptional. Very clean, beautiful views and a convenient location. Kitchen was perfect for our Thanksgiving meal. All furniture was nice and the beds were all very comfortable. Walking distance to the community center. Highly recommend this house
Great stay, place was clean and beds very comfortable

Great view, single unit, nice to have upstairs, main, and lower sections for teenage and adult kids
My only hesitation in rating this property top notch is that it might make it harder to book in future! Great view, single unit, nice to have upstairs, main, and lower sections for teenage and adult children. Convenient to lots of activities. Great response from office on broken DVD player (replaced in <2 hours) and loose door handle (fixed within the hour). Did I mention the view and porch were amazing?
