We loved our stay in the Catskills! The home was exactly as described and very welcoming. It’s a bit difficult to find in the dark, so I recommend arriving during the day if possible. My kids really enjoyed the lake access and backyard. Hope to visit again!

The lake house was as described. We had a great time by the fire pit doing smores and enjoyed the boating. Check in was very easy and the host was available to answer any questions we had. Beautiful location would highly recommend to anyone else looking

Beautiful!

The cabin was perfect. Clean, beautifully decorated, it fit our party of 5 adults and 2 children perfectly. The host was very responsive and helpful. The setting is unforgettable. We were there in early October for the fall foliage, it was stunning. We made use of the row boat and kayaks, the grill, fire pit, hammock, fireplace...We loved everything about the cabin and would book again in an instant!

Relaxing New Years Eve!

Lovely property, a little snow on the ground made this cabin a lovely place to relax and ring in the new year. We were able to keep the fire going, make a fire outside in the fire pit and even relax in the hammock and by the water. House was well kept with a full kitchen and ample seating. Look forward to our next stay here! Thanks John.

5 start place

Overlooking the huge backyard extending into the private lake through the boat deck, this is a wonderful place for us to enjoy the calm, the fun on the water, and the barbeque at night. This cabin is clean and cozy, with more than enough supplies. The rooms were well-decorated (even with freshly picked flowers) and some other interesting pieces.

Perfect Lakefront Relaxation

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a pleasant stay at Green Acres. The house is clean, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. We enjoyed use of the paddle boat for long rides on the water, especially at night under the stars. The lake is clean and very refreshing for swimming. We used the grill, outdoor dining area and the back porch for morning coffee. Overall, a nice property for couples or small families. My only minor complaint is that there is a busy road across the lake that creates road noise during the day. At night, however, traffic subsides and it's peaceful. Thanks Ivan!

Thank you for your review. I would like to comment regarding the noise you experienced because I'm a bit surprised..... I have been living there for over 3 years and renting my residence, never received a complaint on any noise issues nor have I experienced any road noise myself. My lake house cabin is far from the road to absorb any noise whatsoever. There may have been some road construction and/or a one time event you experienced. Not sure, but please let me know if there is something I can do for your minor complaint? I'm glad you enjoyed the cabin and property overall, apologies for the noise you experienced during your stay. Thank you, Best.

Little Slice of Heaven

This property is exactly as described. It is immaculately kept and the best one around the lake. Ivan is so helpful and friendly. He gave tons of helpful information about the area and things to do and explore. The beds are really comfy!! My friends and I enjoyed a few nights stay relaxing, boating and swimming in the lake. We grilled on the BBQ and enjoyed our meals in a private outdoor space. The dairy farm nearby is so simple and friendly. We went for a short tour of where the cheese is made and the owner give a generous cheese tasting experience. Needless to say, we brought home a lot of cheese. In town is John's Tavern, a local bar with pool table, Foosball, and a jukebox. Not far from there is the Belvedere Inn. They have a big bar, dance area and DJ until 1am, if you are in the mood for a little country fun. Thank you, Ivan, for an incredible stay. I cannot wait to go back!

Perfect getaway

Great communication by owner, Ivan, and manager, John. Lovely property. Kayaks enabled us to explore the lake. Even saw a bald eagle looking for fish! The row boat was difficult to maneuver, as there were no cleats to hold the oars, and the paddle boat is missing a rudder, so we took turns on the kayaks. Two great mediation sites: end of dock & red bench at end of little trail lakeside. Very glad to have been given so many recommendations of local fare & hiking trails - thank you! The cabin is a fun mix of rustic with some quirky decor items. I admit I was expecting better fixtures & finishes based on the listing title “by NYC designer.” Nonetheless, this charming cabin served our purpose of a change of scenery very well. Ivan has created a beautiful, quiet space, filled with all manner of creature comforts. John was so kind to check in on us periodically to make sure things were going well. I highly recommend this place & wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Cozy and peaceful!

We loved our stay and only wish we’d booked for longer. The home is very well appointed with comfortable furnishings and many thoughtful touches. Everything was in great working order. It’s in a quiet spot and we enjoyed going out for paddles on the little lake. Truly a gem.

A country paradise!

My family of 3 stayed at this lovely lake side lodge a few weeks ago. What a lovely getaway! We had great times indoors and out in morning and night. The grounds were very private and expansive with few neighbors except the morning deer, beavers and hummingbirds. The house was fully equipped with all the modern amenties as well. Top shelf; we'll be back!

Beautiful setting

The house was lovely, with everything we needed. The setting was the best part, though. The lake was isolated, quiet, and beautiful at every time of day. We saw lots of birds, fish jumping in the water, and during one morning paddle in the kayak, a beaver! We swam off the dock and used the paddle boat and kayaks, and there was also a rowboat and floats for our use. We loved the outdoor shower. The owner was very responsive - we appreciated his help with our questions very much. We highly recommend spending some peaceful time at this beautiful place!

Wonderful weekend

My family spent a long weekend in the cabin. The cabin has a very nice lake view either from living room or outside. We had a lot of fun activities here, Boating, walking. Whole family like this place. We do want to come back again.

Time at Green Acres

My sisters and I spent 3 days here. We had alot of memory sharing In a clean, wonderful and comfortable cabin. There is an amazing view of the lake and a back porch to sit on to enjoy it. We sisters have been on a "retreat" before but this is the place we want to return to. It is beautiful!!

Amazing lakeside getaway

Great weekend! The house, view and property are great - even better than we expected from the photos. We spent most of our time kayaking on the lake and grilling delicious meals. A relaxing getaway from the city with lakeside serenity.

Majestic views

This house has everything you need. Seclusion, a beautiful lake, beautiful view, kayaks and bikes. Aside from a hike one day, we never left this amazing place.

Perfect Mountain getaway!

The house is exactly as advertised in the listing! All the rooms are quite spacious, and the decor is exactly what you would expect from a rustic / modern home in the woods. Me and my family greatly enjoyed our time there and would certainly visit again if the opportunity arose. There's lots of places to check out near by, and the town itself has plenty of fun shops and resturants to visit.
