The guys enjoyed themselves, the cabins and grounds . The only things that could have made it better, Air conditioning ( it was 99 out) garbage holding area and a better way to the water. With that being said they would definitely recommend and go again.
The property was more than we expected! We swam, panned for gold, fished, played outdoor games, watched movies by the camp fire on our projector played cards and snuck in naps! We didn't want to leave! The amenities were great! We over packed not knowing what to expect and didn't need 1/2 of what we brought as it was all supplied in the cabins. We had a little hicup with the hot water and the owner came right out when it couldn't be corrected over the phone! He was a great guy and got things working and we had no issues after that! We are looking forward to booking again next year!
Simply amazing! Right on the river with the Big Eddy and Little Eddy to choose from for swimming. The canopy over the huge deck was so nice to keep the rain and the hot sun away. The outside Propane Grill and Griddle saved us so much time and money being able to cook everything at once. Huge grass area for frisbee and kickball. Nice firepit. No wifi or cell service was a plus for us since we actually got to spend time with each other, vs competing with screentime. Easy check-in and checkout process. Hope to make this an anual destination. Can't wait to go back!
We had a marvelous time at these cabins. The location is nearly perfect (downright idyllic but for the passing cars across the river, but that's a minor complaint): swimming hole a mere few hundred feet down the road, great tented patio, supplies and connections 5 minutes away...! We actually spent every day but one on site, just soaking in the air and the sound and enjoying our time together. Highly recommended.

The property is awesome! Both cabins are well maintained and there is plenty of land for activities. It rained a few days during my stay but the canopy over the deck allowed everyone to hang outside and stay dry. I will definitely be going back.

This property is truly a little slice of heaven!!!
This was my families 4th year in a row visiting this property! Every year our experience is better than the year before! They have made small improvements each year which are always a nice surprise, from new outdoor furniture, new grill, to a raised deck and a new Keurig coffee pot!! You are far enough where you are secluded, but just a 10 min drive to a super Walmart, or liquor store!! We hiked, went zip lining and took the drive to the new Polly Pancake house which was amazing!! Saw a ton of wildlife deers, turkeys, rabbits, and a baby bear (not on the property ha!) To see my boys play in the river, fish, and catch fire flies and be unplugged is the best!! The Philbrick family is and has always been an amazing family to deal with! Counting down until next year!!!
