Round Island Retreat is on an actual island, perched in the center of Sylvan Lake near Rome City, IN. Your own private island features 4 Bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a fully equipped kitchen and spectacular 360 degree views of the lake.

There are plenty of things to do on the 600 acre lake including skiing, great fishing, tubing and sailing. Our retreat offers access to the lake from two dock locations. Included with your reservation is exclusive access to a pontoon boat.

In 2008, we celebrated our wedding at this very location. Today, we invite you to create your own memories on this private island. We are residents of Highlands Ranch, CO and enjoy our vacations to Sylvan Lake. It's a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of our busy lives.

We chose this location for it's unique location, spectacular views and the proximity to family that also live on the lake.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is located on a private island in the middle of Sylvan Lake. We enjoy a number of water activities including skiing and fishing. We also enjoy sitting by the fire pit in the evenings making s'mores and great conversations. We have a number of outdoor games we play including 'Corn Hole,' which provides hours of fun for the family.
