Amazing 250' prime Lake Champlain waterfront luxurious with great swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, skiing and close to everything you might want to get out and explore from foliage to apple picking, cider making, Ben & Jerry's Factory tour and lots of great festivals, events and amenities. Hardwood floors and tile on the first floor and tile and brand new Berber on the second floor. Private deck off the master bedroom overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondack mountains with amazing sunsets almost every night. Peaceful lakefront escape

Well-maintained house in a quiet spot. The property manager is right next door if you need anything. Beautiful views and a well-stocked kitchen. Can't wait to visit again.

This is our second year at this property and it is still a beautiful home and location. Plenty of birds and small wildlife to watch. It has all kinds of outdoor things to do boating, swimming or just enjoying the views! The host is amazing! Best Vrbo we have stayed in, pet friendly too!

Should advertise how pet friendly they are.

We chose the place and and knew it said pet friendly but it seems like everyone who booked it had pets. My girlfriend is highly allergic to fur and pet hair and the couches were covered with pet hair and so was the whole house it was a great stay otherwise they should just advertise and warn about the pet hair

A cozy place to get away

This house is perfect if you want to get away from it all and have peace and quiet in the country. We used the watercraft provided to spend many hours relaxing on the lake. Barb is an amazing host and was very responsive. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Enjoyed our stay and the beautiful location!

The house and property were just as advertised and the views from both floors were non-stop beautiful. Our dog loved the lapping of the water right at the end of the hill. It would be even more fun in the summer, I'm sure. The ping pong and pool tables in the basement were a lot of fun on a dreary day. Thank you Barb!

Beautiful property, well maintained. The hosts were incredibly gracious. There was a welcome basket and they surprised us with an anniversary surprise of chocolate and Prosecco. They couldn’t be nicer. The views are gorgeous from almost every room in the house! Loved the jacuzzi tub! Our dogs were very happy and we really appreciate a true dog friendly vacation spot! They loved watching birds and squirrels out all of the windows. We just wish we had more time!

Lovely Retreat

We really enjoyed our time at the property. There were a few minor issues. The lawn wasn't mowed and the path to the water wasn't extremely well-maintained. We also noticed a lot of dust and cobwebs on the doors and windows throughout the house. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. Barb was extremely kind and helpful. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the amenities are unbeatable. A wonderful place to rest and relax. The listing photos should be updated because they do not do this property justice. It is just beautiful.

I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as welcoming and comfortable as our first.The hosts are incredibly helpful, accommodating and go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience.The house itself is spacious, well appointed and has everything you need to feel at home.Our dog enjoyed the large yard, as did we. We played cornhole, which is one of the many options as far as lawn games go. We loved spending time on the deck, grilling and enjoying the spectacular view. The sunsets were incredible.There are many birds that come to the bird feeder throughout the day and we were even lucky enough to see a bald eagle.We spent a lot of time fishing and my husband even caught a personal best (the bass was just shy of 6 lbs).We visited W.A.G.S. often (the local general store) which has just about anything you need. We also had ice cream at Goodies Snack Bar. (The Green Mountain Sundae was so delicious!) Champ's Trading Post was our third local stop where we bought all of our souvenirs (t-shirts, maple syrup, local jam, specialty soaps, Christmas ornaments and magnets). Everything was affordably priced and the selection was great. All three places are within a minute or two of the house which makes it so convenient.Our overall experience was excellent and the value/price of the rental is outstanding.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation home.

AWESOME!!!

Stayed 9-3 to 9-7 w/my dog Sasha. I was fortunate to have absolutely gorgeous weather. NO HUMIDITY. The house is fully stocked and then some. The hostess was very personable and understanding. There is a most COMFORTABLE KING BED that I got lost in. There is a nice, grassy path to the swim area as well as some stairs. You definitely need swim shoes for the rocky bottom in the lake. Unbelievable sunsets and the area is very private, quiet and clean. I had the chance to visit Button Bay, Chimney Point, Crown Point and Fort Ticonderoga. There is a little general store WAGGS w/in walking distance AND a gift shop CHAMPS is a must for souvenirs and a round of EXTREME MINI GOLF. I would highly recommend this place and definitely would consider staying again some time. MEP/JTowne, NJ

Perfect!

My wife and I loved our time at Barb's house in Vermont! The house was very clean and has literally anything and everything you would need for your time there. My wife and I bring a lot of our own things to use just in case, but we could have left it all behind. The house was incredibly private and secluded, especially when hanging out on the deck outside. Our dogs loved it too! The lake was clean and great for swimming. The only negative thing was the crazy amount of mosquitoes, but it had been a very rainy summer by all accounts. Obviously this isn't anyone's fault, but when the wind was still, sitting outside was tough. The lake frontage is huge and very private and tons of kayaks, canoes, paddles, etc are supplied. Getting in and out of the lake was very easy - gentle slope and rocks to walk on. There are some flat rocks on the lake front as well, so its easy to hang out down on the lake with some chairs. The yard has a huge grass area for the dogs to run around, and its very nice that its separated from the water so after you've cleaned and dried the dogs off for the day, its easy to keep them away from the water and dry for the rest of the night. We have rented many similar places on lakes over the years, and this by far was the best! We have never liked a place enough to return and have continued looking for that great place, and we finally found it at Barbs beautiful house on the lake in Vermont! See you next year!

A Slice of Heaven...

This is our second visit to this beautiful vacation rental run by two very warm, friendly ,and attentive owners. We rarely return to rentals for more than one summer, but this Vermont gem drew us back! The setting is gorgeous, serene, private, and restorative. The house sits on a small hill overlooking Lake Champlain.There's nothing better than grabbing a favorite book and relaxing in the comfy adirondack chairs that face the lake ,or kayaking in Barb’s kayaks in the early evening, as the sun begins to sink towards the horizon. It’s heaven. The house itself is warm, very spacious, and equipped with everything you need! How can you beat a huge jacuzzi tub in which you can sit surrounded by foaming bubbles and stare at the lake, or a skylight above your head that allows you to truly sleep under the stars? Then there’s the fun game room downstairs, the terrific kitchen, the cozy living room with reclining sofas and the expansive master bedroom full of light and sporting its own deck overlooking… you guessed it…. the lake! Barb and Barb pay great attention to providing the best vacation experience possible. The beauty of this area is that it is quiet and out of the way and yet in just a short drive , you have a plethora of activities from which to choose. This home gave us great comfort and solace during a very difficult time in our lives and gave us sustenance for what was to follow. For that, we will be forever grateful and it is what brought us back. There is a special “magic" to be found here. Beth and Bill Wilmington, DE

This is undoubtedly, the best vacation I have ever had in terms of its location, very private and the view of the mountains in Lake Champlain. I’ve never had a scene like this on any vacation nor do I expect you in the future. The host Barbara was friendly and accommodating, and you are left with a book full of restaurants to visit activities to attend and we did go to one of the restaurants she recommended which was actually “the Bridge”, you could walk to it if you’re in good shape!We were at the Shelburne Museum just took in the whole area from Addison all the way to Saint Albans, where my relatives live. This is a place you need to stay at for complete relaxation which the scene /environment will give you. One more thing you can walk to the WAGS….. West Addison General store they have everything you need gas water, liquor pizza you name it they’ve got it. I bought a souvenir of course…a Vermont hat.I hope to be back someday

This was an amazing property. The check in process was easy. The views from the deck were breathtaking looking out over Lake Champlain with the Adirondacks as the backdrop. The house had everything you need from the well supplied kitchen to the comfortable king sized bed. The hosts (Barbs) were also so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this rental. We hope to return in the future.

Wonderful getaway!

Beautiful cottage right on the water - wonderful views no matter the weather, but I got lucky and had some great spring days. Hosts are welcoming and helpful. Cottage is well appointed and feels like a home away from home. I look forward to my next annual visit!

Beautiful Location
