I traveled with my family and it was a perfect vacation location. The room was clean and well kept and the property manager is a great guy always happy to give directions and help when needed. Great place to spend time with family and friends definitely recommend!

Perfect & As Pictured
Amazing property and even better representatives. Perfect trip.
We had a great stay. Natalie was quick to respond with any questions we had. Plenty of parking and helpful staff onsite. Clean and enjoyable common areas. Property was perfect for a large group. Would book again without a doubt
We had a fantastic family vacation in Rocky Point. The condo was just as it was described. The owner was fabulous to work with. The property manager and other staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t want to leave! We can’t wait to come back and stay at Tesoro again!

This property was amazing
The room(s) itself was amazing. The location was great, with water on 3 sides. There was a big storm when we were there so the staff was preoccupied cleaning up and didn't get back to us on a few things that they said they were going to but were otherwise friendly and helpful when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and have our fingers crossed that no storms hit while we're there :)
We stayed here last year and it was great again! Right on the the beach with a pool and not many people around. The room and balconies and views are fantastic! Underground parking with fulltime security is great if you are concerned about that.
Only negatives are that the condo grounds and the sectional sofa are getting pretty rundown but the place is still 5 stars.
Our week at Tessoro was nothing short of extraordinary. I stayed with my parents, sister, and wife, and we were all blown away by the beauty and spaciousness of the property. Every room offered breathtaking views, and we never felt crowded. The amenities, including the high-speed internet, were flawless, making it easy to stay connected when needed. The pool was absolutely perfect—refreshingly cool under the warm sun, and the soft, sandy beach just steps away made every day feel like a dream. Tessoro provided the ideal backdrop for our family getaway, and we can't wait to return.
It is a little drive into town for dinner/etc, but worth it for the views and peaceful location.
From the moment we walked in to the condo we were amazed by the view, it was even better than the photos in the listing. The outdoor space and spa were perfect for our family. We loved having the beach and the pool right there and took many walks on the beach with the high and the low tides. Natalie responded to questions right away and the property manager Gaspar was so helpful. We are planning to make this beautiful property our new place to stay when in Rocky Point.

Wonderful Getaway
The pictures do not do this place credit. It's better than the pictures. The condo unit is so comfortable and the views from everywhere in it are mesmerizing. The staff at the condo could not be nicer or more helpful. A walk in either direction on the beach could not be more pleasant. We go every year for a family event.

Beautiful condo! Does need some regular maintenance due to age of resort
2nd time visiting, beautiful property and condo. Not sure if becoit was winter, power went out for long periods a coup of times and seemed to be a lot of noise with mechanics and visible leaks from pipes in garage. Thinking due to age of property, owners need to invest in repairs. Love the quite overall vibe.

Thank you for the positive review!
In response to the issues mentioned:
The power outages were nothing to do with Tessoro, but rather a couple of other strange situations down the line, which took out power to many properties in the area. One was a horrible explosion of a propane tank in a home down the beach and the other was created when a bird flew into the electrical lines! The bird was electrocuted (poor thing) and it resulted in a power outage for many properties and homes there! Both incidents were very bizarre happenings for certain - especially in such a close time period!!
As for the dripping water...there had been recent rains and the water issue was part of the drainage pipes off the roof.
Thank you again for your return and we hope to host your stay at a later date :)
Our first time to Rocky Point & the views from this condo are unbelievable. If you are looking to get away & just relax this is the place. The condo was very well stocked with utensils needed to cook but if you are looking to go out to eat everyday it is about 25 minute trek to nearest restaurant. The host is very responsive to any questions you may have. Check in was a little crazy as there was no one at the open gate to tell you were to park or which elevator to use, had to walk around the property to find someone. Overall a great experience.
The condo is breath taking, it's got so many huge doors to open, you're basically living outside.
There are 3 beautiful rooms all with their own bathroom, huge kitchen, and lots of living space.
My only recommendation for the owners would be that it's time to upgrade the main living room sofa, and the patio furniture and BBQ. With so much patio space, there needs to be better and more seating, the current seating is at the end of it's life.
Everything else is very nice, the bed in the master suite was amazing, I slept so well!
This is my second stay at this condo and we will definitely be back! It's perfect.

Disliked: Amenities
It wasn’t what I expected. It’s too expensive and not even one tv was working, also some the stove was not working properly and if you add dead mouse that was behind the tv. Definitely not happy.

Amazing
This was our first family trip and we just loved it so much we didn't wanna come home lol. The kids enjoyed the beach and the pool just as much as the grown ups. The condo was immaculate. They had everything we needed and more....
My husband and I have gone to RP many times and stayed at a different condos/hotel but by far this is our #1 favorite, not only the condo but the location as well. I wish we could have stayed longer!!!! I hope we plan a trip again soon.
Mindy M, the owner is such a sweet lady, she always got back to me quickly whenever I had questions. She's great!
I am forever grateful. Thanks Mindy. Also thanks to Manuel the property management for helping us out with a few things we didn't have...
I give this proterty, location, owner & staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!
I highly recommend!!

What a terrific time for your family to enjoy this amazing condo and all the beach has to offer! Such fun memories for all of you!
On behalf of the owner, we hope you'll return at a later date! One little correction I might add..."Mindy M" - I am not the owner, rather the reservationist, but thank you for the kudos on facilitating your special stay! I may also add that yes, Manuel is an absolutely wonderful asset and is especially gracious! Thank you again and we're so glad you had a wonderful time! :)

Enjoyable stay
The place is gorgeous and well kept. It is true to the pictures posted. The beach and location are wonderful. The beach is quiet and feels like you have the place to yourself. Kids had a great time. It was very safe. The access to the home from the elevators is very convenient as is the underground parking. It is a bit out of town but we liked that since it lends to the place being not busy like most resorts. Although the home has a good kitchen, we did no cooking given the large variety of excellent restaurants in town.
However, there are a few heads-up below for future renters which we found out after we got there or after paying the full amount:
Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is before 11am ( it is possible we missed this if it was posted). For the price charged it is reasonable to expect an earlier check-in and later check-out
There is no daily maid service
TV has primarily Spanish channels
The master bedroom doors do not have a lock so limits privacy (you can lock the outside door but that results in locking out the living area and kitchen in addition to the master bedroom so precludes other family members from accessing the living room and kitchen
The master bed is extremely creaky (springs creak if you just sit on it)
Overall, it is a great place for spectacular views, nice décor, luxury feel and wonderful beach location

We're glad this guest enjoyed their stay! The reason for a 4:00 check in is for housekeeping. With check out time at 11:00 and cleaning necessary on a property this large, the housekeepers need to have plenty of time to get things readied for the next guests - this is something that is typical of any hotel or vacation rental property. Often times, if the property is available earlier and the guest has requested an earlier check in time, we accommodate the request if and when we can, but not when there is a turnover. Also, if the guests arrive early and again, when requested in advance, they are welcome to play on the beach and use the pool area until the check in time. This is all spelled out in the rental agreement as the guest explained. We hope this explains the check in time for any future guests in arranging for arrival times.
We thank this guest for the favorable review, taking good care of the property and for staying in Tessoro #501 and we hope they'll return at a later date! :)
The condo was lovely and the beach is as private as you can get and also very nice. It was great having a private elevator for this condo as we were up and down a hundred times over the 3 day stay.
Plenty of kitchenware, bath towels and everything else we needed.
My only suggestions would be to update the livingroom sectional and the fold out couch as they are pretty worn.
The gas bbq on the patio was brand new and it worked well but is rather small (13" x 13") so we had to bbq in 2 batches with 5 hamburgers in each batch. No big deal but just thought I would warn you, it is not going to accomodate several steaks.
We brought coffee filters and like everyone else left them so if you drink coffee don't worry about bringing those cuz there are hundreds of them. There also were no trash bags so the trash can got pretty nasty towards the end of the trip although we dumped everything down the trash shoot in the stair well. I still would think there should be trash bags under the sink.
Overall, a very nice place with beautful views and we will most likely be back. Last note, the host is very prompt in responding to anything. It was a great getaway!!

Beautiful Condo!
This condo is beautiful.
The layout with each bedroom having its own bathroom was great for our group of 2 couples and 3 kiddos. Also, being able to take our own elevator from the parking garage directly to our unit was very handy! The well stocked, roomy kitchen was great, since we cooked every day. Many hours were logged on the wrap-around lanai, the view is spectacular. The quality of the furnishings were very nice, beds were comfy.
Maybe it was the time of year, but the resort was pretty deserted so it was as if we had it to ourselves. Lots of beach walks. The pool was ice cold, my kids which are usually not bothered wouldn't touch it.
The staff was amazing from the moment we arrived, they were there to answer questions or help obtain any needs we had.
The condo is located at the end of a peninsula, only about 8-10 minutes from the gate. Then just another few minutes downtown to the malecon. We were there during bike week, so that lent itself to be an interesting experience. We mostly went out to lunch, our favorite was Pedros! Amazing authentic Mexican and guacamole. Most evenings we bought fish and shellfish from 3 Boys Market.
I would also like to thank Mindy. She was awesome, responding immediately to my emails or calls.
I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a nice relaxing trip!

We will never stay at one of the local popular resorts
The views and secluded steps away beach are unmatchable. I almost don’t want to leave a review because it’s a gem and want to keep it to ourself. Natalie was very easy to work with and responded quickly to questions prior to our trip. The condo is spacious and balcony with views of ocean and inlet area make it superb above any rental in tower A or B that has less space and limited views. Property is about 15-20 minutes from main resorts. We visited the main resorts just to see what we were “missing”…all in our party were much happier at the condo. If your looking for a crowded..noisy party scene then Sandy Beach area is for you with not so clean beaches and constantly being asked by locals to purchase something “which we totally understand and did contribute”. At the condo there is no soliciting we basically had pristine beach to ourself and and no overcrowding at pool. This is not a resort it is a nice condo..with some expected wear and tear being on ocean front but the serenity was amazing. The groundskeeper and property caretakers were very kind and helpful and even hunted down a boogie board for grandson in parking garage.(there are no close by shops).
Things to know…BRING your food don’t count on being able to find what you need at a grocery store. Bring flashlights in event of power outage (this did happen we could not find any in condo and lost internet etc) generator/power did kick back on within hour but its was pitch black (high winds). This is not the USA so we were surprised power returned so quickly but be aware it could take much longer.
The Kauffe House and Combo Taco were great inexpensive place to eat. We did jet skis and banana boat rides (which if you talk to property manager he may be able to arrange for them to come to you at condo instead of heading to Sandy beach). Best during the week the rentals are too busy to come on weekends..they pick up up at wading area in ocean.
There were tacos for sale poolside Fri..Sat..Sun which was a blessing since we did not pack a lot of food..it wasn’t fancy but simple cheap and yummy.
It took us a few hours to adjust mentally..to being in a different country with not as many privileges and opportunities as the USA…we quickly became more grateful and appreciative to those who live there and are kind and helpful. My grandson who is 9 walked away with a new perspective and appreciation and compassion.
We felt safe day and night..will visit again soon!
Kitchen was stocked wonderfully. Bedding was soft and comfortable! Only issue was only 1 outlet worked in the kitchen I’m sure a breaker issue but couldn’t figure it out. Overall a great unit
Clean, nice place on awesome property with great views, beach, and pool right on the beach. I really like the last part since I love the surf but not so much into the sand and salt of the beach. Each bedroom has it's own full bath plus there is a 1/2 bath off the living area which is the ideal setup. MUCH quieter and less crowded than condo's in town. No real bar or restaurant on the property but they did have a small selection of food and drinks by the pool during the day. There was no hot water which we didn't know until we had to take semi-cold showers but that was quickly fixed (blown fuse) when we reported it so I would check that when you arrive. There were also a couple bath sink faucets on which the cold water didn't work that wasn't really an issue for us. The positives far outweighed those two issues so we will be back!!

About the host
Hosted by natalie l steimel
We are a big, happy family from Phoenix! We have spent a great deal of time and expense decorating Unit 501, which we affectionately call 'Mi Cielo Azul.' That's My Blue Heaven in English, and you'll know why the minute you step off the private elevator. We hope you enjoy our home away from home as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
We chose to buy our home at Tessoro because it delivers a level of luxury and amenity previously unavailable in Rocky Point, and the location is beyond ideal. 'From its epic location on the Las Conchas Peninsula, Tessoro overlooks the confluence of the Sea of Cortez and the Morua Estuary, witnessing their daily dance on a low-tide, high-tide rhythm creating a setting where every day becomes a unique encounter.'
What makes this property unique
Tessoro is a 55-residence Luxury Beachfront Condominium (final build-out will include 225 units) with unobstructed ocean and estuary views from every unit. The Architects and Interior Designers have created a fusion Mexican – Mediterranean style. By skillfully handling light, color and texture, every space has been designed with an individual charm providing a distinctive sense of personality throughout the development.
