Gaze out across the deep blue waters of Lake Winnipesaukee from this single-level home perched up above the lake in Gilford. Marvel at the sunrise each morning and the mountain ridges in the distance from lovely living spaces both inside and out.
The house is located on the southwestern side of Lake Winnipesaukee, with access to the lakeshore available nearby at Ellacoya State Park (one mile). After a day of cruising the lake, driving the loop road, or fishing for salmon, rainbow trout, or largemouth bass, you can gather around in the front yard for an incredible lake and mountain view.
The interior was designed to showcase the lake, with windows framing the view at every turn. In the open, main living space, you can relax on leather sofas by the gas fireplace, set up board games at the dining room table, or sit down at the desk to catch up on email without sacrificing the view. There's a window-lined sunroom that's perfect for morning coffee, a spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances to assist with breakfast, and a family room where you can gather after dinner for movies and games of charades.

Beautiful Home with Amazing View
This home had a very functional layout. I liked that it was a ranch with very few steps, since I was staying here with 2 grandsons, ages 3& 7. The yard was very nice and large. I loved all the flowers. This home was also perfectly located, since I was visiting my son, who lives in Gilford. I would definitely stay here again!
Had ~6 people stay at this location for a ski/snowboard trip. It was the perfect little house, plenty of room and you get all your winter vices (fire place, movie room etc.).
This property is ideal for visit to the lake. On top of beautiful views, it is spacious, comfortably furnished, and close to activities, stores and restaurants. Great find! Thank you to hosts!

Great Property
We loved our stay at this property. The house is incredibly clean and in brand-new condition. It felt like we were the first guests in a new home. We also really appreciated the blackout curtains in the bedrooms as we have two small children who wake up at first light. The view of the lake is gorgeous and we liked exploring the area. We would definitely return and rent here again.
Loved this house b cause of the peaceful location. Didn’t like the extra tall bed, it was almost impossible for anyone to get & out of safely. Rest of the furniture was great.

Hi, Lynne. Thank you for providing us with this valuable feedback. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the location of our home. We thank you for your feedback, as it helps us improve our guests' experiences. We look forward to welcoming you back for another fabulous getaway in the future.
We stayed in New Hampshire for the weekend for a birthday gift for my eldest son. We had an opportunity to go see Recycled Percussion at The Cake Theater with meet and greet passes and front row seats.
Our accommodations were outstanding.
Our beds were comfortable and all our time spent there was filled with fun playing board games and connect four.
It was a quick visit but we planningvianother visit in the cities

Property management VACASA is an absolute nightmare
Let me start by saying this is a beautiful home except the driveway was atrocious if you had a Low vehicle, but dealing with the VACASA is an absolute disaster
We arrived Thursday evening to attend my daughters graduation locally so we would it have to drive from southern NH And Mass.
We started washing dishes and all of us started smelling a terrible rotten egg smell. It was the hot water. We tried the showers and it’s even worse. We called Vacasa right away. They apologized and supposedly contacted the local team. Someone texted us from them and they said to run the shower on hot for 5 minutes and it will go away. They must have been aware so they just wanted to get the place rented. The steam and the smell filled the house. Half of our guests left instead of staying. We could not brush our teeth, shower, wash hands, dishes. We threw the ice away, got bottled water.
Following morning the water was just as bad. My wife and daughters drove all the way home
The southern Nh to shower. 1.2 hours away. I was asked to stay so someone could come over. Guess what, nobody showed or even called. . Wasted the whole day while everyone else was out doing lake things.
They said someone local called me. I have all my phone records and that was a complete lie. They never called.
I will never book another home if Vacasa has anything to do with it.

We are disheartened to read that you experienced issues that kept you from enjoying your stay. We apologize for the odor you encountered and our local manager assured us that this was due to the water heater not being used in the winter months and after running the hot water for a while, the smell dispersed. We understand that this was not the experience you planned, nor is it the one we want our guests to have. We hope the compensation you received helped alleviate some of your frustration and that you will give us another chance to better impress you on your next getaway.
