Vibrant, Bright & Fresh in the Heart of Tamaqua

In the heart of Tamaqua, your family will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally-located cheerful home. Just 15 miles from Jim Thorpe and a quick walk to the Tamaqua train station. Our home offers outdoor dining, a large backyard, fire pit, indoor fireplace, Roku TV in both bedrooms and the living room and a well-stocked kitchen

The space:
The downstairs has a large kitchen, living room and small workspace area. The living room has a sectional, a loveseat and a chair, a fireplace and a Roku TV. The sectional can sleep 2. There is a deck off the kitchen with outdoor seating. Upstairs, you will find the master bedroom with a luxurious king bed and a daybed with a trundle (room sleeps 4). The second bedroom has bunk beds, a double on the bottom and a twin on the top (room sleeps 2). The bathroom is upstairs in the hallway. There's a stackable washer and dryer in the kitchen.

Price wasn't bad

Property was clean and check in was easy with the keycode. However, host changed check in and check out time the day of our arrival making us check out an hour earlier than we were originally told. There were space heaters for upstairs but downstairs was still freezing despite an electric fireplace.

Why they chose this property

The Sunshine House is really special to us! We love the character of Tamaqua and have gotten to know most of the neighbors in the area. It's a sweet community and super close to Jim Thorpe and other area attractions. The beds are very comfortable and our guests tell us that the home feels warm and inviting. The internet is fast and every room has a Roku TV.

What makes this property unique

When it's nice outside, the fire pit in the back yard makes a cozy family activity. You can also use our grill and let your dogs run free in the fenced backyard. We have Roku TV's in every room for your entertainment. Coffee and tea bags are in the kitchen and we have a brand new washer and dryer that you're welcome to use. Please make yourself at home!
