fyi there is no A/C or electricity really. Motels in the area aren't much more, you're really paying to be by yourself in the woods. I found it quite nice.

Secluded cabin in the the woods just outside of Rochester. Tent camping spots and a cute little cabin. We were told the tree house will be ready for next season. We will be back! Thank you!

Peaceful

Very pleased!! Enjoyed my week. Simple check in. Clean cute log cabin. Accurate description listed, manager responsive, great communication and responded to messages in a timely manner, beautiful scenery, loved sitting on the peaceful front porch, felt safe as a lady staying alone with a swing bar door lock inside and some outdoor soft lights at night and semi- remote location, comfortable bed, outhouse clean, lightly audible nearby highway road noise - not bothersome at all, some airplane noise but not bothersome, has outdoor grill, kid climb on play toys noted, able to shower at nearby truck stop. Overall, loved my stay highly recommend if peace and relaxation mean more than the modern amenities of a noisy busy hotel room or neighborhood.

Rustic cabin

It started out with no contact from host. Took 1/2 hour to get code. Owners appear to be on property. At night could not get door to stay shut, put a chair against it. Traffic from Hwy 63 was very noisy. I was ok about the airport noise as they disclosed it. Only stayed 1 night due to the above issues. Paid for 2 nights but wasn't worth staying.

The cabin was great for our needs and we brought everything we may have needed, knowing it was very rustic. The solar lights were very helpful. It's well set up with plenty of sleeping space(4 ppl) and a very sturdy table inside and out. Also has a picnic table. The outhouse isn't too far off, but it did smell surprisingly terrible. Fire pit area and the rest of the yard/property is great. There is a bocce ball set there. Good spots for hammocks or a tie out cable. The endless corn border is pretty cool. The door is a pain to get to latch closed, and also for opening as it's tight at the bottom and gets stuck around 45 open. There is a lock latch inside to make sure it stays closed when inside. And also locks the door as the keypad lock doesn't work well either, as if it's possibly dying. Overall, would for sure recommend the stay

My wife and I own EZ CAMPER RENTAL . com and we love being in the outdoors, so when this land and cabin came available we decided to purchase it and rent it out so people could enjoy it. A cabin only minutes from Rochester.

Why they chose this property

This is a great property right by Rochester, but you would never know it when you pull in. Very wooded and beautiful. The airport is nearby and you will probably get a plane or two, but it will not wreck your stay. Also in the winter this is located right off the snowmobile trail.
