The place had everything we needed for a week’s stay while my husband recovered from surgery. We appreciated the recliners in the living room, and the property was conveniently located near Mayo.
The house was great as well as the host. The beds were very comfy as well as the recliners. My husband was recovering from surgery and the recliners worked helped with him getting his rest. We will stay here again.
Nice place within easy walk to Mayo Clinic. Jill was a friendly and very helpful host. Nice supply of bottled water. Comfy bed and plenty of hot water.
Normally you expect a listing to be embellished to promote the property. This was not the case as the house was exactly as described and pictured. The host even provided small details that weren’t expected which were greatly appreciated. We had no problems and would definitely stay here again.
We had a very positive experience, felt at home and were very comfortable. We appreciated all of the amenities and extras provided. Check in and out was very easy. Communication was good. Thank you!
We appreciated this place to stay for a week. It's centrally located, close to Mayo Clinic, restaurants, and city parks/ walking trails. We also highly recommend Cheap Charlie's (2 blocks away) for lunch or breakfast AND the Canadian Honker for dinner (5 minutes away, across from St Mary's Hospital).
This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at their property. It’s a perfect set up for our needs. Easily accessible, everything we need close by, clean & in a quiet neighborhood for recovery.
This property is perfect for the two of us. One level, clean, easy access to the Mayo, groceries , restaurants & activities. Nice quiet neighborhood. Great communication with owner.
Check-in was seamless, and the home itself was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. This charming property has been fully updated with new HVAC, windows, and more, which made our stay even better. The location is ideal—close to all Mayo campuses, plus plenty of restaurants and shops. It provided the perfect place to stay during my surgery at Mayo. The king-size memory foam bed was incredibly comfortable, and having a TV to watch while recovering made a huge difference. We also loved the cozy recliners in the living room—they were perfect for relaxing. The house was immaculate, with so many thoughtful little extras that made it feel welcoming. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and the garage parking was a big plus. We’ll be back in the fall and will book this home again without hesitation! Thank you for hosting us!
So clean and comfy. Obviously visiting Mayo Clinic is not like a dream trip, but this wonderful house made it a pleasant experience. Walkable. Quiet and liveable.
This was our very first experience with a VRBO. It exceeded our expectations in every aspect including but not limited to the following:
communicating with the property manager, cleanliness, kitchen supplies, bathroom accessories, up to date appliances, comfy recliners, easy instructions for TV/cable remotes… The host was responsive to short notice special requests we were in need of as well. This property definitely felt like “home away home”…good “vibes”. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to Mayo Clinic.
Close to Mayo main campus and St Mary’s campus as well as restaurants in town and by St Marys. Relaxing environment for 7 day stay for mom and adult son who had surgery. Do need car but knew that ahead of time. Comfortable beds and recliners in LR. Complimentary Kurig coffee and beer and wine on honor system. Highly recommend!
We came to Mayo clinic for a three weeks day for my daughter’s outpatient CBT pain clinic. This place was clean and stocked everything we needed. Kitchen/ Bath basics, quiet neighborhood, you can walk to Mayo Clinic from here, but if you’re going to the St. Mary’s location, you’re going to want to drive. Pricing decreases significantly when you stay for a long period of times. This is a great property for that not all of the VRBO do as much discount. We had a couple of things go wrong while we were there, but they were fixed immediately. The dryer stopped turning in the next day. They had someone there to fix it the next day. Nothing that the property owner could’ve done to avoid and they were very responsive when it happened. The property has table and chairs to sit outside, you can walk to downtown Rochester, restaurants, and bars from here if that’s of interest. There is also a park walkable distance where you can walk along the river. But it’s also quiet in the evenings for someone recovering.I found for the long day stay ans we didn’t have a surgery that the chairs were a little weird versus a couch, but just something to point out not a problem. I think most people staying here would’ve come in and out for a surgery and would’ve really appreciated the reclining powered chairs. No there is a couple steps near the entryway. Would highly recommend!!!
Mycket trevligt, rent hus i lugnt område. Gång avstånd till Gonda.Längre till Mary's hospital.I huset finns allt.Väl utrustat kök.Inga problem med in- och utchekning.Bra kommunikation med värden.Starkt rekommenderar.
We rented the house to be close to Mayo Clinic and it was only a couple blocks away. We also wanted comfortable seating in living room and Jill absolutly provided that. Everything was perfect!!! Will book again.
