Views and Proximity

In short, our stay was great! The home overlooks lake isabella and the mountains behind it. Gorgeous 😍. 20 minutes up the road is Alta sierra, a ski slope. 2 hours from there is the trail of 100 giants. Great location. Wood interior of the house is beautiful. Cookware is limited, but still able to make a fabulous dinner. Recommend allergy medicine as the dirt generates dust and pollen from the trees. Nighttime offers a twinkling starry night display like no other! Sequoia National Forest is also a 20 minute drive, perfect for viewing the shorter Sequoia trees. Quaint little village, very pleasent.

I live in Orange County and Work in IT in LA. I purchase this home as a fixer upper and after 3 years of renovating both doing the work my self and hiring local contractor, the home is ready to enjoy. I hope you like your stay here.

I love the view and the peace and quiet of the surrounding mountain and lake. The small town life and activities are a great get away from the city life.
