House was very clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The view from the deck is amazing. Could watch the boats going out in the morning.

Great cabin!

We enjoyed our stay and would rent again. The view is great and we loved the open space at the end of the street. Cute cabin. With only 3 beds it should not be advertised as "Sleeps 8".

Great house and fantastic location near Alpine and Palisades. Dogs loved it too!

Memorable Getaway

We had an excellent stay at Chickadee! It was so nice to check in in the early evening and take a quick stroll to the woods nestled nearby with our dog. We kept returning for walks there when we weren't hiking, and we think you should emphasize this easy access to nature! As far as the home, we enjoyed the updated kitchen equipped with everything we needed for cooking meals. The views from the two patios were perfect for morning coffee and sunsets. We'd love to return during ski season next!

The location and the house itself was great! I made a request early on for a mattress topper because the matresses and pillows were not comfortable. That request was never replied to. Housekeeping came and changed out the sheets, which were torn.Several window screens and slider screens are torn and need replacing. The iron curtain rod in the primary bedroom is hanging from one screw making the curtains sag to the floor on one side. Many of the dresser drawers are not functional in the primary.Both bathrooms could use hooks and shelves to make a long term stay more practical and functional. The primary bedframe is oversized for the mattress and box spring and the support underneath the california king bedframe is not secure. The walkways and path to the staircases throughout the complex were finally cleared of overgrowth about a week before I checked out, after a 45 day stay.The place has such potential to be really special with some TLC!

It was an amazing stay :)

This place offers so much! It’s just like pictures on the listing. Clean, nice view, less than 5min to drive to DT Tahoe city. Plus, very helpful, welcoming and responsive management team. I and my family had a great time during the stay. Only one downside is Wifi connection. Verizon didn’t have a good service on that area, so we needed to rely on Wifi, but connection wasn’t stable. However, it was only small part of our trip. It might be helpful to people who wanna work during stay. Overall, amazing!! We would like to come back to this property or other with Avantstay team!
