We had such a great vacation in this beautiful house- right on the water. All the amenities and especially loved the dock and pool- would love to return!
This home has a great location! Steps to Miller’s for food and drink. Also walkable to the Pink Elephant. Minutes to the town center as well. Plus right on the water with a beautiful sunrise and view. It also has a great pool and pool deck as well as a very nice wrap around porch. A very comfortable home wilth a great kitchen. We cooked in a couple of times and the kitchen is great for a group. I would really recommend this property on Boca!
We didn't want to leave! We brought our boat down and loved island hopping. The sunrise was magical each morning. The house was the perfect size for our crew and everyone had their space. The kitchen was well appointed and it was easy to prepare a full breakfast and lunch. We went out to dinner each night and loved the restaurants. The location couldn't be better, you can walk to The Pink Elephant or Eagle Grill and Miller's Dockside. The marina was handy for gas fill ups for the boat and to rent a golf cart. The master bedroom has a window unit for AC and I was worried initially as it was hot upstairs. I lowered it as much as possible and it did a sufficient job of making the master comfortable, I would have been happier a few degrees cooler. There are a couple of sliding glass doors that don't lock and the one in the master won't completely close but the area is very nice and we felt safe. But the sliding glass doors are old and probably need replacing or some work done on them. The wrap around porches are amazing, the views spectacular, awesome huge kitchen, and overall we loved the Yacht Watch. Thank you for hosting us!
We just stayed for a second year in a row, we loved it so much. This trip we brought our kids and friends. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The location is unbeatable, we saw dolphins every day. And the house is perfectly set up for entertaining and lounging.
My family and another family traveled to Boca Grande for vacation. We rented a house from The Cavana Collection for June 13-21, 2024. We arrived at the house on June 13th. While the house itself was very nice, the inside was filthy. Upon arriving, my friend and I had to straight away sweep and mop all of the floors as there were crumbs everywhere, food, gum, bugs, etc. We then had to wipe down all of the couches – cushions all stained and gross, under cushions there were crumbs, food, dead bugs, hair, etc. We had to clean all the countertops, the fridge, the drawers where we might think about putting our food items. All of the drawers had tons of food and crumbs in them. It was just nasty. The bed linens were stained which was really uncomfortable and gross. There were no extra sets for us to try and change to possible cleaner ones. Several lights did not work. In the upstairs bed, there were two bugs in it which was really gross. We had to kill two cockroaches upstairs and three downstairs. There was a swarming very active beehive on side of house close to entrance. We have one child with an allergy to cockroaches (documented allergy) and one child allergic to bees (documented allergy). The draperies were all stained which gives off a dirty feeling. Only one television worked in the house. The towels provided in bathrooms were stained and had pulls so very used towels. Lastly, had a bad slip and fall on dock that resulted in emergency room visit.
What a great place to stay. We came to fish and our guide picked us up in the backyard. The house is older but well comfortable. We enjoyed watching the boats from the pool in the backyard.
We were so excited when we arrived in town. The house is perfectly situated on the marina, allowing for spectacular views. We saw dolphins every day and had the best time. The home is well appointed and very comfortable. It's a special find for sure.
