Cozy retreat

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home in June. The house was clean and well appointed. The couches and beds were comfortable and there were plenty of games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. We enjoyed coffee on the back deck every morning and cooking in the beautiful kitchen. The surrounding area is peaceful. We brought paddleboards and spent hours on the lake.

The stay was great, the property was awesome. I had all amenities listed with the exception of the gas grill, apparently it was still in winter storage. Apart from that, we had a great time at the cabin.

I am sure this was a nice property at one time. All I can say … the pictures are old … The house is worn out. The decorative pillows are faded and dingy. And every closet has dusty, dirty old blankets and sheets stuffed in them. We couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Beautiful winter wonderland

The cabin was beautiful, the outside deck collected enough snow our children and pets could play while we watched through the amazing large glass window. This home was perfect for our large family and very close to several ski resorts.

Decent Weekend at Cabin.

Very unfortunate that the WiFi was NOT working all 4 days.. This meant we had NO access to the thermostat and were very uncomfortable while sleeping throughout the night.

Lovely home in the mountains

We were a group of 6 cyclists and we had a super pleasant stay at this lovely house in Soda Spring. Beautiful scenery, super clean, and great location. From check in to check out, could've have asked for a more smooth stay. One text for replacement grill propane tank, and it was sorted by the time we wanted to use the grill the next day. Would love to come back to this house in a future trip.

Great Cabin Rental

This cabin rental is perfect for any family vacation just located off of I-80 freeway. Everything needed to stay in a snowy cabin is included here. Spacious 5 bed, 3 story cabin, comfortable, luxury kitchen, sauna, washer/dryer, patio deck, ping pong. Roughly 12 minutes from boreal ski mountain for those ski/snowboarders. Would recommend to anyone looking for 8-10 person cabin rental.

Worth every penny

We planned a last minute pre holiday trip. The house was amazing. We arrived early and thankfully we were able to get an early check in. The house was in a quiet location. The kids loved all the extra games. My husband and Aunt spent 95% of the time in the Sauna. We are already making plans to return. 10/10

Nice house with enough room for family

Overall, the house was great. Nice layout with enough room for all - 3 bedrooms upstairs for us and our 3 kids to stay, 2 bedrooms downstairs for 2 cousins to stay. The ping pong table was a big hit. Comfy couches and enough seating in living/dining area to hang out. Location in Serene Lakes was fantastic and close to the lakes. Cons: - No grill - the brochure said there was a grill, but it was in the garage which we did not have access to. - No access to the garage to store bikes. - We were very happy it was dog friendly, but one bedroom downstairs smelled of old dog urine. The management company came out to do a spot clean, but it only helped a little. I would recommend routine cleanings for a pet friendly rental or switching to hardwood floors.

Nice Large home but ......

This place was spacious and some nice features like the fireplace, sauna, outdoor decks on all three levels, lots of bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. It was great that they accept dogs. What could have been better: cleaner carpets- if you are going to accept dogs maybe have the cleaning company to have access to a personal carpet cleaner for small cleaning in between guests or clean the carpets more often. If the rental is left for days and weeks maybe all beds should have been checked for rodent droppings. All of the personal items in cabinets makes it feel like you are just dropping in at someone's home. It's hard to distinguish what is your stuff and what was already there. Since the cabinets had so much stuff we just stored our pantry items on the counters. Not a terrible place, it's just that if you are going to manage a rental think about how hotels are ran and do that. It just could have been better.

Caveat Emptor

The home itself is lovely. Unfortunately it was not well appointed or as clean as it should have been. We follow contracts and unfortunately this one was misleading. Well worn beach towels for our showers, no blankets on two of the downstairs beds, no extra linens, we washed blankets to put on the beds. The wall beside the twin bed is dirty. Pans, casserole dishes and baking sheets were all very dirty. The baking sheets were put away in the oven without being washed at all. Crumbs in the plate cabinet. No coffee maker. Webs in the lighting, one sconce was completely burned out. The worst part about this company is that all communication is via text. I asked repeatedly to please speak with a representative but was told it isn't their policy. So incredibly frustrating!! I still await resolution. The owners need to engage a new property management company.

Good, Bad, Ugly

The good: Ping pong table, sauna (we didn't use), showers, bathtubs, kitchen layout (but see bad), mattresses. The bad: No cold water in the kitchen sink on arrival. Reason: a 1 gal/minute leak at the faucet. Likely the cleaning crew had turned off the supply valve. Three days to get a plumber. Butcher block island smelled from improper cleaning. No top on the kitchen garbage container, and utensils/pans broken. One broken brush for 3.5 toilets. No night lights, and stubbing hazard bed frames. (One broken toe). Sliding door between master bath and master sinks was off rails. Little shelf space in master bath. Dirty shelves in medicine cabinets. Crowded and messy garage. Torn screens to deck. The ugly: It was quite hot during 2-week stay. There are no fans in the upper 3 bedrooms (or anywhere). This is a nice, big house, hampered by poor preparation and lack of attention to creature comforts.

Big beautiful house, but needs TLC

Beautiful big house, but it needs some TLC. Let me start with all the positives. It’s a great large cabin for big families. The game room is a nice addition, and there is plenty of space for sledding outside which we absolutely loved. Suggestions: It could be better organized and that’s really it. The kitchen is so spacious but we couldn’t find the utensils to cook and after 4 nights and 12 meals later that was frustrating. After searching all the drawers I consolidated the utensils for the next family, but realized they only had 3 spoons! It’s needs some dusting as there were spiderwebs on the ceilings and light fixtures. We also had to live out of our suitcases since there is little to no drawer or closet space. The master has a small dresser but it is filled with extra linen. I was tempted to clean out their bedroom closets but with 3 little ones that was impossible. The dressers should be taken out of the closets so there is more space to hang clothes, etc. The heater is tricky and we could not turn it off. It kept kicking up to 70 degrees and 4 out of 7 of us had nose bleeds. I’d come back for sure, but I’d hope they’d address the above.
