Post & Beam Chalet w/ Stunning Lake & Mountain Views

Welcome to Eagle Point at Stinson Lake located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Experience one of the most beautiful and cleanest Lakes in New England. Stinson Lake is the largest Lake at the highest elevation located inside the White Mountain National Forest. Eagle Point encompasses 135 acres with over 350 feet of water frontage. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, boating or fishing from our sandy beach cove. Hike, bike, ski or snowmobile the trails right outside the front door.

The Mountain House at Eagle Point can accommodate 10-12 guests with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is an open concept kitchen that flows right into a nice dining area. A large and open living area with 75 inch TV to relax after a day’s adventure. Or enjoy s’mores around the fire pit just outside while watching the amazing sunsets with commanding views over the Lake and Mountains. The star gazing is fantastic.

The rooms include 2 King beds, 2 Queen beds, 1 Full bed and 2 Single Beds. Linens and bath towels are provided - bring your own beach towels. There is a full and open concept Kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator and dish washer. As well as a laundry area with washer and dryer.

There is local hiking to Stinson Mountain, Carr Mountain or Three Ponds Trail with waterfalls. Stinson Lake is stocked with all sorts of varieties of fish and the area abounds with wildlife including moose, bear, deer, loon, eagles, osprey, heron, kingfishers, owls and more.

Our private beach is for Eagle Point guest’s only. It is accessed by a short forest trail. You can walk from the house or park just above the beach and walk down about 100 feet in elevation to our sandy beach cove. Bring along a boat and enjoy waterskiing and the sunrises and sunsets from the open water.

In Winter enjoy local skiing, skating, hiking, snowshoeing and sledding. The higher elevation provides for amazing snowmobiling right on the local Bruhawachet groomed trails that connect to all the trails throughout the State.

The property is beautiful. There is plenty of privacy. The lake is amazing. The lake is a bit of a hike, however completely worth it. I 10/10 would stay here again.

The perfect getaway

It was such a magnificent property, the house was cozy and well maintained. Plenty of things to do in the area for all ages. The home had plenty of room for everyone to have their own area and the common space allows the whole group to get together before we split off on our own adventures for the day. I highly recommend a stay here.

Incredible place in the woods

The mountain house was just what we were looking for. It was in the woods, with lake access, with kayaks a beautiful beach, just a short walk away. It was the right size for our family. Newly renovated with gorgeous windows views. Thank to our host Peter for meeting us, showing us around and a welcome bottle of wine to enjoy when we arrived.

Family retreat

We had an amazing stay at the Eagle Point cabin, accommodating our group of 12 adults and kids perfectly. The rustic charm and simple decor created a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The large open area was ideal for all the families to hang out and play games together. The property itself is expansive, offering a breathtaking panoramic mountain view.One of the highlights was the small hike and sledding we could do right on the property—such a bonus! If you're looking for a simple yet delightful getaway with beautiful views and a friendly, responsive host, this is the one for you

Dream house in a dream location

Our stay at the Mountain House was nothing short of perfection! We had a small intimate wedding there with our immediate family. The outside is the scenery of dreams. It’s absolutely beautiful and peaceful. And the house is gorgeous ! It’s even better in person than in pictures. Everything was perfect. Peter is the best host! He was up there doing work on the property when we got there. He greeted us and made us feel like family. He’s very responsive to any questions and gave great recommendations for places to go in the area.
