North Country Retreat is a cozy, pet-friendly home fully furnished, and stocked for all of your cooking and cleaning needs. Located in a quiet, laid back neighborhood, you can walk to the downtown area for summer festivals, farmers markets, parades and plenty of activity but off the main street. Walk to the Ferry lines to Mackinac, church, Wednesday and Thursday evening music concerts held at the marina and the Saturday Farmers market. Enjoy a historic guided walking tour on the weekend or visit the downtown restaurants, parks, museums and shops that dot this small but quaint downtown. North Country Retreat features a large bonus room for hanging out!

Great UP Family Trip

Loved the house and property. It exceeded all of our expectations. It was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to explore St. Ignace, Mackinac Island and Mackinac City. It was a great location for our family trip.

Family Get Away

We really enjoyed our stay. We spent a day at Traverse City, rented a boat to go tubing on Mullet Lake, spent a day at Mackinac Island and a day kayaking, putt putting and even did an Escape Room at Know Way Out. We had a great time and made many wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
