This Cottage Style home features: maple flooring, milled beam accents, ceramic tile, cottage decor and a cozy fireplace. It is also set up for family fun with separate areas for adults and little ones alike.

The Landing is situated atop a natural slope with *views of Long Lake, beautiful towering trees and wildlife and features 160 feet of very private, sandy bottom frontage on peaceful all-sports Long Lake in Benzie county. Built in 2004, this home is located right in the center of one of Northern Michigan's most desired vacation destinations. 'The Landing' is directly across the street from Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore property, with hiking to Lake Michigan less than a mile down the road and is only minutes from such areas as Empire, Glen Arbor, Crystal Lake and Frankfort. 
 
Also, just 3-4 minutes walk** down the hill, and thru the boardwalk trail, await your own private island... OK it's not a private island, but it is a 160' of very private sandy beach frontage. There is a row boat, 2 kayaks, life jackets in various shapes & sizes, full dock w/moorings for extra boats, fire pit w/chairs, rope hammock, 2 chaise lounges, and 2 Paddle Boards w/ Paddles.

When these amenities are available: Row Boat (April 1st til Nov 15th), Kayaks (May 1st til Nov 1st), Docks (Mid-May til Nov 1st), 2 Paddle Boards (Memorial week til Oct 1st), Gas Log Fireplace (Thanksgiving til April 1st.)

*To some extent seasonal, as during the summer when the trees are full, you can't see the lake as well, but there still are some breaks.

**3-4 minutes for healthy adults and children, for those with health issues it could take a little longer. Home also sits on a small hill so the walk back up could be a concern for those with health issues.

- Winter guests must bring an all-wheel-drive vehicle or at the very least a front wheel drive with good snow tires.

**** Be sure to check out "Additional Information" - "Things to Bring" so that you'll have everything you need to enjoy your stay! There is only room for 4 cars in the driveway and you can't park in the street. Please plan for this.
