We had a great stay at this cabin. Very clean, in the right location for what we were doing, and it had everything we needed. Our favorite part was the covered patio. It was perfect for group talks and relaxing outside.

The cabin was charming, well organized and clean. Every detail was meticulous.. The weekend was a great success and the communication with Katherine was excellent. I would recommend this little get away to anyone.

We could not have anticipated a more incredible, intimate, personal and flawless weekend here. Katherine was incredibly gracious and helpful from the moment we requested booking to the day we left (and we did not want to leave). The property itself is located in such a beautiful and easily accessible area to all the local sights a couple/s may want to visit. From the moment we walked in, it truly felt like we were at home. Everything was immaculate, cozy and we frankly felt a little guilty being able to stay in such an incredible place. It was clear from the moment we pulled up to walking in the door that a ton of TLC and effort had been put into this property. We can't thank Katharine enough for her hospitality and sharing of such an incredibly beautiful and serene home. We hope to make this a once a year long weekend trip again. Many thanks and gratitude for everything!

Great Cabin for any small group

I went with a group of guys and we loved the firepit / grill set-up, as well as, everything inside the cabin. I didn't run into any issues that effected my stay here. Will recommend to my friends and partner.

Fly Fishing Trip on South River Waynesboro, Va

Great cabin for stay with Buddies for Fly Fishing South River access in Waynesboro, Va. Cabin was nice inside with a lot of log beams and working stone fireplace. Three bedrooms with comfortable mattresses. Good kitchen with all amenities and appliances you need. Just 15 minute from downtown Waynesboro. Katherine was great host and easily available for questions and communications. Would stay again next fly fishing trip to South River. Ray

Why they chose this property

The first time I walked into this custom-built log cabin I knew I wanted to make it my own. I love the mountains and the smell of a wood burning fireplace. My home is close to Shenandoah National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway and Nelson 151.
