We loved our stay at the cabin. It was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was a great size for just my husband and I. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and loved having the bbq
available to grill. The tv had the netflix app so we could watch movies at night. And the bathroom had clean soft towels. The place was really clean and smelled good. The place was close enough to a grocery store, and downtown, but far enough away. I loved the cute decor and it was just a cozy place to stay.
My 3 kids ages 6-16 had the best experience at this cute, well-kept cabin in Ponderosa Park. There are two bedrooms one queen and one full size I believe, new linens, updated bathroom and wonderful views. The first evening we were lucky enough to experience deers and javelinas in the neighborhood. We used the wood burning fireplace, enjoyed hot cocoa, and played games. It was a true cabin experience. Lots of hiking and lake adventures in the area. I highly recommend Thumb Butte ($5 day pass buy in parking lot) for all ages! Half the trail paved! The left is paved and the right isn’t. If you’re doing the whole look I’d start off to the right! Rent a kayak from Born to Ne Wild and explore all the coves Watson Lake has to offer! Such a great trip!
