I stayed in this unit for a month. Josh is a very attentive host. The unit is spacious, clean, conveniently located and the beds are amazingly comfortable. Josh made sure that we had access to all his tv subscriptions which was great.
Cozy apartment, centrally located within easy walking distance of downtown, Mirror Lake, and a grocery store. Host was responsive to questions and parking (behind the building) was easy. Outside stairs to get up to the apartment were snow free, but might be something to keep in mind if someone had mobility issues.
Very clean and comfortable apartment and centrally located. My only feedback was that I didn't realize we'd have to climb stairs to get to our room, and that the tub and toilet were on platforms.
Good place, as described. The owner warned us about the ice on the parking lot and stairs and it was an ice skating rink. It may not be a bad idea to try to clean off a path on particularly bad days.
The place was awesome, easy to find, down the block from the hot spots of town and the interior makes it feel like your stepping out of town into a cabin in the woods.
This property was perfectly situated close to Mirror Lake, shops, and restaurants. The apartment was clean, easy checkin, decorated like the perfect cozy cabin and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of amenities and Josh was very easy to coordinate with. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Comfortable apartment with all the necessities in a wonderful location. It also has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a rental property.
Absolutely excellent. Great communication from Josh, quick responses to questions. Clean, cozy place and great distance to walk into town and drive to all sorts of attractions. Would HIGHLY recommend, and will be back myself.
We loved staying in this clean and convenient apartment. The only issue was that the hot water did not work so you may want to check on that. We would definitely return, and having the restaurant below on a very chilly night was key!
We absoluty loved our very spacious and comfortable home for the week. It was an easy walk downtown to where all the activities were & a 3 min walk to Placid Planet Bikes. The new pizza joint down below (Fratellis) was delicious and convenient. 10/10
Will be back!!
Everything you need to know about this place is in the listing and photos -- large, comfortable, clean, cozy, well-appointed kitchen, on a major and busy road, walkable to town, excellent parking. It's above a pizza parlor and we never smelled the food -- so no downside to that. It was close to our friends and perfect for us. We would stay here again. BTW: This place is not for the physically handicapped or infirm.
The apartment was nice, bright and clean my only criticism is the stairs up to the 2nd floor landing were a little slippery, mostly because the snow was melting and then re-freezing again which made the bottom stairs slippery and icy.
Although we didn't spend much time in the unit, it would have been a comfortable place to hang out. Bed was very comfortable, rooms were a great size and the kitchen looked like it had everything we would have needed. Walkable to town. Josh was great to work with. Very prompt with my questions. Called me at one point to explain some messages I was getting instead of emailing. A couple of suggestions. When you walk into the unit, have some type of tray or mat for wet boots, shoes. Also put another piece of seating in the living area. If there were four of us with only the one sofa it may have been uncomfortable to sit in a kitchen chair for any length of time. Overall, worked out great.
