    Amazing Host

    We stayed here for a week for a church event and the house was very clean with top appliances and fixtures. The people in the neighborhood are super friendly and we truly enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive and I see why she is a premier host, she is very kind and we look forward to staying there next time we are in Detroit.

    Perfect location, no more than 15min away from everywhere we wanted to be. House was as described, and the host was quick to respond before we got there. There were not any problems while we were there, so only contacted the host once to let her know we left. Overall when I go back to Detroit, I know where I’ll be staying!!!

    Owner deserves 6 stars

    We were staying for 2 nights to attend a Celebration of Life. When we got there we were unable to get in. Making a long story short, there was a new housekeeper that accidently locked the bottom lock so the key pad would not work. I contacted the owner, she responded right away, apologize numerous times and told us how to unlock a lock box and get the key for the door and we were able to get in. Such a great lady and she was doing this out of town. The home was just as the pictures showed. So comfortable, great showers, great kitchen, and very clean. The neighborhood might not be what some people like but it is safe and people are friendly, just an older part of town. Would recommend to anyone. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Detroit.

All within a 10-15 minute car ride South down Woodward Ave. Just park and explore. Two blocks and drive North 6 minutes to Ferndale, Royal Oak both cities have amazing restaurants, unique shops and a great vibe.
