About this property
Serene retreat is just steps to the National Forest
This serene retreat is just steps to the National Forest and the lake and ski resorts are just minutes away. This two story home has 1 bedroom plus a spacious loft and 1 bath, furnished and decorated in Big Bear Mountain Charm. We have all the amenities you will need so you feel at home as soon as you arrive. (Ideal for 2 Couples or small family)
The space
The useful kitchen has all the basics, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and a dining table with seating for 4 people. The relaxed living room has comfortable furniture, wood burning stove, CD/DVD/wireless internet and flat screen HD TV with surround sound stereo. The first bedroom has a Queen Serta Pillow Top Mattress bed and the loft bedroom has two queen beds. Off the back of the property you access a back deck facing a seasonal creek and the trees, with outdoor spa and gas BBQ for your convenience. The property is within walking distance to the National Forest, at night it has a spectacular view of the moon and stars. Even though you feel like you are far away from it all, you are only 5 to 7 minutes by car to all of the Big Bear Lake activities. If you are looking to get away from it all, you have found it in Moon Shadow.
This home is just right for a small family or two couples that want to get-a-way from it all.
Guest access
Whole house w/spa
All areas and utensils.
Off limits is: locked storage in loft and locked storage on back deck.
Other things to note
The photo's don't show the houses on the right and left of the cabin but I do have neighbors. It is not as totally secluded as it appears but it is in a remote and less populated area. There are 10 houses on the dead end street. Most of the people on the block are not full time residents. It is usually extremely quiet. The cabin is located 4.2 Mi. to Snow Summit Skiing about a 10min. drive, 1.5 Mi. to Big Bear Lake about a 3 Min. drive, and 5.1 Mi to the Village of Big Bear year round resort about a 12 Min. drive.

Why they chose this property
I absolutely love my cabin. I couldn't pick a better location. After I bought in 2003, I quickly went to work on remodeling. I hope you like what Iv'e done and the cabin decor. It is a labor of love for me!

Location, location, location and of course the spa!
