Great stay!

We had a great stay at Kathleen’s property! The home is beautiful and great for big groups. Kathleen was extremely responsive when we had any questions. We enjoyed using the kitchen, the grill and the rooftop with hot tub! Beach is such an easy walk that it was great with little kids.

Magical stay on LBI

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay Kathleen and Andrew's house in Holgate. We were looking for a quiet 2 weeks with our family where we could beach, have family fun, and just relax in a comfortable setting, and that's exactly what we got. Some highlights: -The house is impeccably kept, but extremely welcoming and comfortable. -We were looking forward to cooking almost every night, and the kitchen is absolutely perfect for cooking up family feasts. It has everything you could need. -Having the grill right outside the kitchen is extremely convenient, as is the screened-in porch that's right there, too. -Having two separate masters is perfect if you have multiple families in the same house. -The spacious laundry room made doing laundry (all the beach towels!!) easy and convenient. -The beaches are SO close, we preferred going to "the bird beach" (the southernmost beach) - there aren't lifegaurds there but there is an awesome tide pool for the kids to splash in, so we felt safe there and loved looking out at the bird sanctuary. Tips for your trip: -If your group is sensitive to light while sleeping, definitely bring eye masks. The sun rises early, and for the most part I don't believe there are black-out shades. -Lots of great beach stuff is provided, but if you prefer backpack beach chairs, def bring them. The ones provided are a bit older. Can't say enough great things about this wonderful place, thank you so much for having us!
