Mt Washington is easily accessible driving directly from Victoria, BC , or it is a quick trip over on the ferry from the mainland. During the summer it is a destination for hikers and mountain bikers as they explore the slopes of the mountain or the world renowned Strathcona Park. During the winter it is a magical snowy wonderland.

In the winter the home is perfectly set up for families who can quickly escort their children right across the street to the nearest chair lift, and quickly back again for apres ski when the day is done.
