A Little confused as to the rating as the note you left in the cabin mentioned how much you loved your stay, and that the cabin had EVERYTHING you needed for a great stay! You also mention how much you loved the history of the place. I guess even the perfect vacation isn't worthy of a 10 of 10 rating for some people. Thanks again for choosing our property. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, beautiful setting, spacious deck, and quirkiness. We had plenty of space for our family of four. We walked to Otto Lake and liked how close we were to the Denali park entrance. We lucked out with beautiful weather. Thank you!

Host was communicative the whole time and the stay was great. It was what I expected in terms of layout. Host helped us address issues when hot water went out. He was helpful thoughout the whole process. Would stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this authentic cabin. We walked inside & were pleasantly surprised. Very well stocked kitchen & drinking water was supplied. Hosts were very responsive to our requests & even attended the cabin to assist with the search of a lost item! Surrounds were beautiful & we felt very safe. Would definitely recommend this for an authentic Alaskan experience.

Very secluded, peaceful & quiet. Hosts live nearby so they can address any issue that may arise but we were there 9 nights and had no issues. Everything was wonderful. Even though it was off the beaten path we had all the comforts of home. Also a full service grocery store and laundry mat are only minutes away. Would strongly recommend.

Once I got over the shock of the incline driving up to the property, things were good. The view was amazing and the history of the property was very cool. The flowers outside were beautiful and made us feel very welcome.

Maybe a bit more rustic than we were expecting. There wasn't really a bedroom for the adults in the family. But it was a great location with an interesting history.

We had a wonderful stay at Healy Cabin! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place for our family.Our kids had an amazing time exploring and enjoying the outdoor space. The highlight of our stay was spotting a mommy moose and her baby near the cabin yesterday evening—it was such a memorable Alaska experience!We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Healy Cabin to anyone visiting the area. Staying in a cabin like this was a first for our family and a bit of a surprise. It definitely achieves the rustic feel as soon as you enter the dirt driveway and we are greeted with seeing a momma moose and her calf right off the back deck! The listing was entirely accurate, but I did not read it carefully enough to notice some of the quirks like the waterless toilet and the steep stairs to the bedroom above. These quirks, plus the optional outhouse, enriched my family's experience.

We had a wonderful experience. Amazing views from the deck. Wonderful, charming cabin, full of history and unique detail - an authentic experience indeed. Very cosy and comfortable, very clean and well-equipped, with a large, spacious living room that we appreciated very much. All directions and instructions to and inside the cabin were very clear and easy to navigate. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and found it hard to leave behind. The host shared the history of the place with us and it is indeed special.

Wonderful hosts, clean & cozy rooms just as they were described in the listing. The views were incredible and we really appreciated the written instructions throughout the cabin that helped us to be good stewards.
