This is a very charming house. It had everything we needed plus a few extra considerate touches like recommendations for area businesses and some goodies from the nearby store. Loved it!
I had a great time at this property. It is conveniently located right outside of town but not too far away. Its very spacious on the inside with plenty of room.
This charming property offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. With a cozy interior bathed in soft lighting and large windows showcasing serene views, it feels both welcoming and private. The secluded backyard, creates an ideal retreat for enjoying peaceful moments.
This was a charming, well maintained home with a great location off the highway. It is also within walking distance to the Raven's Glenn Winery and Restaurant, which is an absolute must stop if you are in the area.
We had a wonderful time. Check in instructions were easy and the home was welcoming. There is an extensive list of things to do and places to eat provided. I would definitely book again.
The property was in a perfect location for our weekend getaway. Coshocton, Raven’s Glenn winery and The Wooly Pig Brewery were all close by. Maxx who was our contact for the property was quick to respond to questions we had leading up to our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.
The house was super cute and in a great location. Has a really cute yard and was close to WalMart and shopping. Host was fantastic. Will definitely save this place to visit again.
Perfectly located in the middle of the Three Rivers Wine Trail
This cute little house is perfectly located within a 1/2 hour of each winery on the trail and within walking distance from our favorite “Raven’s Glen Winery”! We were welcomed with cookies from our host and enjoy a perfect romantic getaway. We highly recommend the Historic Saltbox house if you want to get away and still have all the conveniences of home.
House is overall a pleasant stay. Communication was excellent with Maxx. Amenities are abundant - towels, kitchen items, toiletries, games, and DishTV. The house has its own charm. Backyard is private. Quiet neighborhood. Neat places nearby such as the Wooly Pig Brewery, McKenna's Market.
This property was super convenient for all of our local activities in Roscoe Village, Fresno and Baltic. It is indeed an older property, so you have to embrace that when staying here. The communication with the host was superb and the home had lots of amenities. If you are looking for a convenient and cozy old house to rent, this could be your place. Of note though, it was unexpectedly hot outside during our stay and the house had a hard time cooling the upstairs where the bedrooms are. Of course, you can never predict the weather.

Weekend Getaway with a Dog
The location was perfect for site seeing and visiting Wooly Pig Brewery, McKennas Farm Market and Raven Glenn Winery. We were a short drive to Cosochton and Salt Fork State Park. Unfortunately the housekeeping, cleanliness, and lawn care were less than to be desired. We were thankful the property was pet friendly but we couldn't use the back door or patio due to an overgrown tree. The landscaping need to be tended and the lawn was sloppily mowed. The inside was completely accommodating and there were plenty of extras that weren't required or necessary. The property looks like everything could use a good wipe down and washing. I would like to travel to the area again, and this is a perfect place to stay if there is a little more upkeep in the future.

Neat but dirty
There was human and pet hair where.Sheets on the bed in the main bedroom had dirt, human hair, and pet hair on them. We had to strip the bed, shake the sheets, and use a lint roller to remove the debri and hair. There were spider webs and spiders through out be house. The throw blankets in the front room had a foul odor. The grass wasn't manicured. There was no real preparation/maintenance of the property prior to our stay. It was more like someone just tidied up.
It was a great small house to stay in. It's old time charm was nice. The central a/c was great on the first floor but it took a while for the second floor to cool off. Bedroom door had to be closed with fan on. Road is off the main street but quiet and a restaurant in walking distance. We took our Labrador with us and it was fine. Just the guy across the street did have his three small dogs off leash. No issue or altercations.

Could be a great place
I have never written a bad review for a place I’ve stayed but the other reviews were far different than what I experienced. This could have been a great place. Unfortunately it had many spiders and webbs inside, I counted eleven on the walls. Also the yard was not kept up… overgrown weeds in the beds around the house along with weeds/grass growing on the back patio area. It generally was not cleaned well including the shower area, and tv area that had many cobbwebbs around the tv stand. Some dusting and a shot of paint on the bathroom shelves would go a long way. The historical home could be really be wonderful.
