Quiet cabin 30 min from wineries, restaurants, Sugar Creek & Walnut Creek.
A cozy and quiet 3 bedroom cabin, sitting down the hill in the woods with the sounds of a waterfall running off the back porch with your morning coffee and amazing sunsets off the front porch relaxing after dinner and exploring. Far enough away from the tourism to gain a pure appreciation for the Amish way of life, yet close enough to all the tourist attractions of Sugar Creek and Walnut Creek to spend your day exploring the local shops, eateries and Amish bakeries. Local wineries are within 15-30 minutes away if you enjoy vineyard tours and wine tasting. Baltic Mill winery is only a 10 minute ride and across the street from East Main Kitchen. Put your name on the waiting list at the restaurant and head across the street to do a little wine tasting while you wait for your table. If you enjoy off the beaten path exploring there are miles of Amish country roads to turn down and get lost in exploring an amazingly different way of life. Stop in at the different Amish shops you run into along the way, then stop back by Bags Sports Pub for a great burger before heading back to the cabin to wind down for the evening. Relax watching TV in the den or retire to the bedrooms to watch TV while you fall asleep. It is truly a magical place to visit with enough to keep you as busy as you want to be or as laid back as you wish your normal days could be.
Pearl Falls is a 2 story cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, downstairs living area and stocked kitchen. While there is one main bedroom and bathroom on the main floor there is a steep sidewalk to enter the house and the other 2 bedrooms and other bathroom require you to climb stairs to access as they are on the 2nd floor. Road access and part of the drive way are rock/gravel with some hills, but the parking area and house access are concrete (see pictures). Bedrooms and bathrooms do have blinds for privacy, but we love the openness and tranquility of not having them in other rooms of the house. The space is secluded enough that there is still plenty of privacy without them, we just love the unabstructed views of the landscape.
Back Porch- Covered Area has a bar height table and chairs for 4 and 4 rocking chairs, while the sun deck has a charcoal grill. The covered deck and sun deck are all one space (see pictures).
Living area Has a double reclining couch, double reclining love seat and a stand alone recliner. Blankets to wrap up in while you let the electric fireplace relax you from the day. Smart TV with full streaming Channels (please use your own log in for online streaming). Many board games; Monopoly, Life, Chess, Checkers, Battleship, Connect Four, Uno, Playing cards and more).
Kitchen/Dining- Dining Table sits 6 and fully stocked Kitchen. Coffee pot and coffee bar stay stocked for your stay. Dishes, glasses, silverware and cookware are all available in the kitchen space. There is an oven and stove if you prefer to do your own cooking along with a microwave. There is a full size refrigerator with an ice maker in the bottom freezer drawer. *There are wild game camera's on the property to for observing the local wildlife, one is located in the driveway of the property and observes the parking area as well. No recording devices are inside the property. We are on the bottom of a hill, there is a steep drop off behind the home with no railing. The front porch does have a small area close to the driveway with no railing that could be a fall hazard for a child. Please be mindful of this when booking.

This was our second time staying here and i have no desire to ever stay anywhere else while in the area. Everything was perfect and i love the off the beaten path, quiet location.
What a beautiful area! And this cabin was perfect to enjoy it. It was clean, comfortable, and anything you would need. The back deck view is priceless. Would love to stay here again.
The rental was very up to date with very nice bathrooms and appliances. The back deck has very nice furniture with a great view. This rental was very well stocked with cooking utensils and dinnerware which isn’t always the case with rentals.
Our stay was very pleasant. Lovely cabin, very clean, and quiet. Very remote. It was adult friendly. I would not bring small children to this location. Beautiful deck overlooking a gorgeous woods area.
This house was incredibly nice and comforting with gorgeous views all around. We had everything we needed. There are not curtains in every room but they did have them in the bedrooms which was greatly appreciated.
Had a great stay at the property. It was as described and set up perfectly for our group. Wish we could have had access to laundry since we were soaked at our event and the garage to store golf clubs that were drying out, but overall it was everything we hoped for.The drive in over the last mile is a bit tough in a large van due to the gravel, but it was an adventure!
The house was exactly as described on the VRBO site. It was secluded and soooo quiet. Enjoyed sitting out on the back porch and listening to the trickle of the waterfall in the background. So relaxing; so quiet and so so clean!! Really a nice property.

So glad you got to enjoy the relaxing sounds from the back porch. Thank you for staying with us!
The house is beautiful, the area is quiet and serene. The house had every amenity you could need. The list of recommendations for shopping and restaurants was very helpful. We had some of the best pancakes in the world. The beds were all super clean and SOOO comfortable. It was just what our family needed! 10/10 would stay again.
My wife and I stayed here over the 4th of July weekend with our 2 children! The house was spotless, fresh, and comfortable. Cristy went over the top to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of! The drive to town or Sugar Creek is easy and we loved taking in the scenery of Amish Country. We will definitely be back!
Views were magnificent. Friendly folks as neighbors. ( Even made friends with the goats next door). Oh so peaceful. Plenty to see and do to suit most every taste.
Thank you to our hosts as Cristy was very accessible. Property was neat and clean, ready to go on our arrival.
Looking forward to a chance to return or send others.
Wonderful property, nice and clean, loved 💕the back deck for a quiet place, and just listen to nature all around you. You must LOVE country if you stay here. Pictures are exactly what you see & get. Beautiful !!!!
The Cheese factory at end of road has awesome cheese, best I’ve ever tasted.
Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay- The communication with Cristy was excellent from my first inquiry. This home is in a quiet area away from any hustle or bustle which was what we were looking for to side by side in peace. There was definitely space for our three trucks and trailers, but don’t forget some chocks to keep everything in place. There was a new charcoal grill there which we weren’t prepared for, so a little learning curve, but all supplies were there with directions. This took a little longer, but was a really nice throw back to how we grilled food growing up. We highly recommend this home for an escape to Amish country Ohio.
Perection. This place was everything i needed. Quiet countey side beautiful home. Clean and quiet.
I am very fussy! This place met every expectation. My sister and I stayed for 5 days and hope this place is available again for our next visit to Ohio. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
We visited our home town of West Lafayette, had dinner in Coshoctons Roscoe Village, went to the Coshocton County Fair and spent some time in Berlin to explore the the wonderful Amish stores and restaurants.
The location of this VRBO was perfect. Everything we wanted to do was 20 minutes away.
This home offered us the quiet tranquility we were looking for. Kudos to our host!!!

Thank you for your review! What you described was exactly our goal when we decided to build. We look forward to you staying with us again.
The house was very nice and extremely clean. Cristy, the host, responded within a minute or two every time I messaged with a question. She was extremely courteous and helpful. I booked this home at the last minute, paying more than I usually prefer to because there weren't a lot of options, but I'm glad I did! It's true that you get what you pay for! My teenage son who has anxiety found his happy place on the back deck and spent a lot of time out there soaking in the peace. I have already booked our next stay at this home.
We are from near the coast in North Carolina and began going to Ohio Amish Country over 20 years ago chasing Belgian work horses. We met an Amish family that trained these horses and it was the beginning of a long lasting friendship that has continued to grow. We visit 3-4 times a year and hope to eventually retire here. We decided to build a home in preparation for that future plan, but want to share it and the beautiful countryside with others until that time. Our favorite places to eat when we are there are Bags Sports Pub and Park Street Pizza in Sugarcreek, East Main Kitchen and Baltic Mill Winery in Baltic and Boyd and Wurthmann in Walnut Creek.
Why they chose this property
We loved the quiet countryside and enjoy being away from the crowds and traffic while we are there. Our favorite thing to do is just ride around and look at the country side, farms and watch the farmers work the land. This place was perfect for getting away from it all, but still close enough to all the tourist attractions for the days we want to do a little shopping or be tourist.
What makes this property unique
We discovered the waterfall after we purchased the property and just knew the house had to overlook it. Nestling the cabin into the woods near the waterfall allows you to feel like you are escaping reality even if for a short period of time.
