Take a trip to Manasota Key and stay at this secluded 1BR / 1BA house on the coast of Lemon Bay. You'll be a 2 minute walk to the beach. You'll enjoy your own private dock - perfect for fishing, kayaking or organizing a boat outing (let us know & we can refer you to a local rental company!) This home is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to escape to paradise!

This is a duplex style property with two units connected and the chairs by the bar are communal between units.

Please be advised that if you cancel your reservation, at any time. the 3% payment processing fee will not be refunded upon cancellation.

Amazing stay

We had an Amazing time. The cottage have everything you could ever need. It is soo quiet but yet close to the Beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Place Close to Beach and Restaurants!

This is a really nice, clean property. Located in a serene, quiet setting with access to Lemon Bay. Short walk to the gulf and great restaurants!

This house exceeded my expectations! It was great for our family weekend we had 18 people and were able to rent a villa on the property too which was perfect! We brought our boat and fished at Stump Pass in the evenings! Walk to the beach in 5 minutes. The views from the rooms are excellent! I’m just sad it went so fast!

Lemon Bay

People were very friendly. Parking was difficult since we were hauling our jet skies and driving a large vehicle and the spaces were tight. The shared dock is not really a private dock. It was a great location and close to everything by foot.

Beautiful slice of heaven

Fantastic little duplex unit. We loved the proximity to the ocean and the bay, and the town and shops/restaurants. Comfortable accommodations and responsive hosts. It felt very safe, peaceful and luxurious to stay here. Much appreciated !!!

Wonderful Experience

Wonderful stay in the Cottage on Lemon Bay. Absolutely loved the location. The view of the bay from the dock was great. It was very nice to have access to paddle boards and kayaks and communal areas. We loved using all three. Cottage is very convenient to the bay, beach and local restaurants. The property is very well-maintained and not only was the cottage exceptionally clean, so was the entirety of the property. We especially enjoyed the woodsy property and getting to see the tortoises feed every morning! Very quiet and peaceful setting.The property's host was very responsive to all messages before and during our stay. Would definitely stay again!!

Perfect beach side getaway

The host was very accommodating and let us change dates last minute which we really appreciated. The duplex was cute and the outside area was really nice and well maintained. Super easy walk to the beach that was not crowded at all. Easy 8-10 min walk to restaurants/coffee. Nice dog friendly area. The only draw back is to be advised that the duplex shares a door with the other unit and the walls are VERY thin. Take from that what you will We had a great little weekend trip.

Excellent cottage

We enjoyed everything about the cottage, the check-in process was simple. The property owner was very attentive, The cottage was exactly if not better than described. The bedroom was super quiet and comfortable. The cottage is small, but perfectly fine for my family of three. We brought an air mattress for my daughter to sleep on in the living room. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway!

We simply loved our bungalow! The setting is serene. Enjoyed the outdoor space as much as we did the beach. Conveniently located to the beach, to Stump Pass State Park and to the local restaurants. Unit was well equipped with most all of our needs and when we asked, in advance about a shrimp boil pot, they promptly purchased one for the unit. We've rebooked for 2025!

Perfect, older Florida beach cottage. Beautiful campus and walkable to beach, restaurants and bars. The cottage has a Keurig coffee maker so bring your favorite Keurig flavor pods. Bring your own beach chairs and supplies too. They are not provided. Not a great biking area so I wouldn’t recommend bringing bikes. The owner uses a 3rd party billing company so if you book through VRBO or Expedia, don’t panic if your credit card company notifies you of a fraud alert from a company you don’t recognize and a dollar amount you didn’t submit. Overall this cottage was perfect for me!

Wasn't clean and had mold inside

The cottage was filthy and smelled musty. I ended up having a reaction from mold that was in the cottage and a/c units. After 2 days of being inconvenienced and feeling ill from the mold, the management moved me to a different house.Joann from the property management told me she could give me a refund for the cleaning charge. I haven't received a dime. I texted her with my concerns and never got a response. The property was in a beautiful setting but one would think that they should check for mold after recovering from 2 hurricanes before renting them. Very cute cottage in a peaceful quiet setting steps from the beach or restaurants in the heart of Englewood Beach. We reached out to the host with a few questions, and when we didn't receive a reply through the vrbo app we contacted the maintenance person, Manny who was so helpful. Manny is responsive, kind and went the extra mile when we forgot something after checkout. The only thing we learned is that the washer/dryer is not available to the Cottage users - it's only for people in the "big house" at the end of the driveway. We felt weird accessing the kayaks behind the "big house". We learned there was a kayak and a SUP available for our use. Manny told us how to access them and the bay behind the "big house", then we enjoyed an excursion on the kayak and paddleboard that are available to cottage renters. Overall a very nice experience.
