Big house, great for large group. Appreciated: the kitchen size and amenities for multiple people cooking at the same time, entertainment options (large TV, board games, arcade games, outdoor games), the bedroom/bathroom options, comfortable beds, large entryway, lots of closet space, two refrigerators. Host communications was amazing! Little extras throughout the home made things very cozy. We had a very nice multigenerational family Thanksgiving weekend. We had everything we needed and more while tucked in during a snowstorm.
My 6 siblings and our spouses along with one of our aunts came to Clear Lake from Minnesota to reconnect after a long winter! The house was great! Plenty of room for 15 people to be comfortable. We played games, visited, went to the shops and enjoyed the distillery and brewery. We went to Northwestern Steakhouse for dinner which was very good! Communication with Stephanie the host was wonderful and we enjoyed the special treat her family left for us! All and all we had a great time!!
We were a multi-generational group of friends and family. There were 18 of us. Kitchen: Amazing! We cooked two large meals and breakfast every day and had plenty of space in the fridge and garage fridge for leftovers. The kitchen was fully stocked and we had every type of pan, skillet, utensil, and crockpot we needed. Stephanie even had a full cabinet of spices for the ones we forgot. Dining: The dining room easily sits ten people, the game room seats another four and the kitchen island seats four. Everyone had a place to sit to eat and play games. Bedrooms: Plenty of pillows and blankets. Comfy beds. Bathrooms: We were there three nights and never had to wash towels. They were very well stocked. Stephanie even has Aveda brand soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner for our use. She also has deodorant, toothpaste, and tooth brushes which come in handy when you travel with children who pack for themselves. :)Heat: If you’re traveling with grandma who is ALWAYS cold, let me tell you, the furnace, wall heater, and electric fireplace are bangin’! Grandma was warm and the rest of us were sweating. :) But, if grandma ain’t happy…Games: There are two arcade games, a Wii and countless board games. Cons: It’s April, cold and rainy and we couldn’t enjoy what looks to be an amazing grill/smoker, outdoor seating with firepit, or splashing around in the lake. Overall: Stephanie was phenomenal & very responsive to my ten million questions. She even left us drinks & snacks!
