My husband and I stayed for 5 1/2 weeks with our dog, and we thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully renovated loft. We loved the location for its close proximity to Zeigler and Washington Parks, Kroger, the Connector stops, and lots of dining options. other things we loved about our stay: great communication with host, smooth check-in/check-out, easy entry with codes, good window coverings, ample household supplies, and lots of storage space.Be aware that if you are there on a Friday and/or Saturday night that there is basically a sanctioned street party on the sidewalk right outside the apartment door. It is quite loud from 9-10 pm until 3-4 am. Bring earplugs or choose another location if you think it will bother you. The partiers were very friendly as we returned in the evenings from Reds games, but we often found someone sitting on the stoop to the apartment and had to ask them to move out of the way in order to enter.
Our first time staying in OTR. The home was beautiful and clean. We walked to dinner and drinks. Just to note- It isn't a quiet location- lots of street noise and church bells ring on the hour. But it didn't bother us much. Very comfortable bed. Hosts were easy to work with. Loved the vibe of the loft!
The actual loft was fabulous and location convenient. Outside there were several parties with drunk people yelling on the sidewalk all hours of the night. Also, the parking garage is fine if you don’t need to go in and out multiple times during the day. Otherwise, it gets very costly to add the parking fees into the overall stay.
Our stay at this stunning loft was amazing. The loft itself is beautifully renovated and stylish, with plenty of room for hanging out, working and relaxing. The first level (up a flight of stairs) is an open floor plan with kitchen, large table and living area, with plenty of windows looking out onto the neighboring church. The upper level had a nice sitting area, beautifully appointed bathroom and shower, and sleeping area with bed.
We used to live in Cincinnati, so having this as our base on this visit back was perfect. All our favorites were within a very short walking distance (Brown Bear, Colette, Liberty, MOTR, Longfellow, The Eagle, Wash Park, etc.) It was great to wake out and head out the door without worrying about transport, and if wanted the streetcar stop was just a couple blocks away.
Everything was perfect for us. The only suggestion we would have is perhaps a bigger, more firm bed, but that's a small thing.
Highly recommend!
Stay was comfortable and clean. Although alot of foot traffic at night and our front stoop was sitting area for neighborhood street entertainers in the evening during street hang out sessionsm
