Great Week for Two Employees

I had two of my interns share an apartment during a week of training and they had a great experience with no worries or concerns. All was great.

Not what we had hoped for. #Bugs

I am not one who usually writes bad reviews, but I did want to share our experience. Upon arrival at the property after a day of driving with my wife and our 2mo old son, we were greeted by overflowing trash bins and a rough smell next to where you park the cars. We grabbed our bags and headed up into the shared stairwell that leads to the apartment we rented. In the stairwell there were 5-10 bugs (Stink bugs and roaches) crawling on the stairs and walls. Hoping that the apartment would be better we entered in the apartment and while it was clean, the bug problem was the same. We counted about 10 bugs in the first few minutes that were on the walls, windows, ceiling, and crawling in the kitchen. There were also stains on some of the bed sheets, not wanting to risk our infant son in the apartment and frankly not wanting to sleep with the bugs, we got a hotel down the street. When we reached out to the host, they said that in the house rules they mention that they do pest control, but cannot guarantee no bugs in the apartment so we were given no refund. Maybe it was a fluke, and the apartment and location really are great. But if I knew then what I know now about the bugs, I would have avoided this property...
