Off the beaten path treasure..

Very clean! Host was quick to answer any questions. All the amenities were provided - fresh towels, soap, shampoo , conditioner, coffee, and ice. An adorable place to stay! Bed was very comfortable and would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Stay

The Nelson’s live on a beautiful property tucked away off of a peaceful low country road. It was clean with a beautiful bathroom and shower, spacious and makes you feel at home. The Nelson’s were hospitable and had great recommendations for things to do around town. This private bungalow is perfect to “get away” but only a few minutes from in town. 10/10 stay and hosts.

Nice renters

We stayed there while my son had a baseball tournament at Shipyard Park (10 min from property) Everything was great, renters were very nice and answered any questions immediately. The only downside was there was practically no cell service in the area (Verizon), but that's not really their fault.

Cozy and clean stay

Overall good stay. Wifi connection did not work well and there is not cell service so this made it difficult to communicate with host at times. Also wasn’t aware it was connected to a whole house/people would be there but other than these things we had a good stay and were only about 20-25 minutes from the beach.

Nachelle, thank you for your review. The narrative is, in-home private suite. The unit is an apartment with it’s own entrance on the 1st level of a 3 story home. This is a massive home that my son and I occupy. I really wished you would have reached out to me regarding any issues that you experienced so that I would have been able to resolve it with expediency. I was not home 90% of the time. Otherwise, the property is listed accurately and I am glad the overall stay was good.

Quite & Peaceful

Twenty miles give or take from downtown Charleston, quite and clean interior. Unfortunately the pool was not available for use. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Owner is extremely thoughtful and helpful. Would recommend.

Retreat on the Coast

The Nelson's suite is adorable and was perfect for a friend and I. The suite is furnished with two beds, a smart tv, fridge, microwave, and cups. The front porch was nice which overlooked the pool of the property. The home is close to many islands within 30 minutes - 60 minutes. We accidently locked ourselves out and the Nelsons were quick to respond and assist. We will definitely return when coming back to this area in the future.

Shipyard Stay

This was the perfect setup for us! My son had a baseball tournament at Shipyard Park. This was only about 10 minutes from the field and had everything we needed. Nelson's have made sure to include everything you might need. Coffee maker, coffee, creamer, small fridge/freezer with ice tray, toiletries, and even sunscreen. Everything was very clean and in good condition. Large tv with Dish, the bedding looked brand new, and the bath towels smelled great. The only detail you might want to know is that cell service is terrible. They have a hotspot and have made an effort towards improving this. We found serice to be spotty in the entire area for us (we have Verizon).
