Beautiful waterfront paradise with water access, pool, tennis court.

NOTE: No large parties this is a purely residential neighborhood. Welcome to Bayou Lacombe-- our beautiful five acre property minutes from Slidell and Covington and accessible to New Orleans. Perfect for a family gathering or retreat. The home has two full kitchens (one on each floor) and three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and three additional bedrooms. Upstairs has 360 views of the bayou and pool - a true paradise. We have a pool table, large television, a tennis court, a huge swimming pool and water access from a dock. Lacombe is a great place to explore, with tons of nature hikes, bayou tours, and access to fantastic restaurants. This is a residential neighborhood and no loud music is allowed. Please contact the owner for additional rules that may pertain to your party size.

If smoking inside the house then $2000 fee for cleaning. If you check out after 11am without pre-approval there will be an additional $250 charge
Parties are not allowed outside of the guests in the rental party. There is a $2000 penalty if a larger party occurs.
Please keep noise levels outside to a minimum. This is a residential neighborhood.

Beautiful property with lots of space

This was the perfect place for us to host a group retreat. The setting was beautiful and peaceful with great views of the water.The hosts were very friendly and communicative and had everything perfectly set up for a comfortable and convenient stay.We would definitely stay here again.

Short Version-Great place to stay for multi- family time be it family reunions or friends meeting up for fun together.Long Version- Just got back from staying here for a sort of family reunion to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday. There was so much to do in and outside. There is a private tennis court with basketball goal, private pool & dock for fishing outside. Inside there was a pool table, dart board & two kitchens. We brought cards for canasta and Mexican train dominoes to play.When we booked we had to make sure the place would work for my Dad with mobility issues. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs (1 king and 1 queen). I would advise watching out for some of the rugs (specifically the one in the king room and the runner down the hall) as these might be difficult for those with mobility issues but are easy to roll or move out of the way. The downstairs area is set up for activities & games and there was a nice recliner for my Dad. The upstairs is the bigger/main kitchen with plenty of places to seat lots of people. We were able to fit our crew at the main table with 2 chairs pulled up but there was a second eating area inside and then one on the screened back porch. So there are plenty of places to accommodate a large number of people.We all enjoyed having coffee on the screened back porch and I loved listening to all the birds and nature. Very serene place!

My husband and I bought this home so that our children could bike, enjoy the bayou, and look at the stars at night. We love coming to this property-- approximately 45 minutes from New Orleans and it has been a haven for us.

What makes this property unique

Close to the St. Tammany Trace for biking, Sal and Judy's for world class italian, and bayou tours, as well as convenient to New Orleans, Slidell, Mandeville and Covington. This house is perfect for large groups and has a nearly olympic size pool, tennis court and acres of outdoor space. The sunset is visible from the second floor back porch.
