Adorable, comfy, private & well appointed. Well cleared of snow for our arrival after a difficult snow/ice storm. Comfortable mattress was a bonus. We enjoyed our stay!
The host was great in communicating check in and check out instructions! We appreciated being able to park in the driveway and the fenced in back yard was also a nice amenity. Would definitely stay here again!
Lovely property, really nicely furnished and clean. Brilliant location for lots of places locally and close enough to walk into Leesburg itself to get ice cream!
My host was very attentive when questions were asked she answered promptly The amenities were exceptional she had anything and everything you could need like a washing machine dryer dishwasher from toiletries to baby care needs to even pet accommodations the place was immaculate inside and out there is also a spacious backyard as well everything is on one level so there’s no up and down stairs I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel at home when I’m in Virginia again I hope to stay there again I would like to thank my host for such a wonderful experience
A very nice and quaint building with a great host who thought about everything. Great location close to Leesburg Old Town. Very nice neighborhood ! All in all a great stay !
We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! It was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location couldn’t have been better - just minutes from the charming historic town of Leesburg, with its great shops and restaurants. The host was warm and responsive, and check-in was seamless. The neighborhood is safe, and the scenery is lovely! We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Leesburg area!
This property was very clean and had everything we needed. Also in a great location to the heart of Leesburg, but on a quiet street. Would definitely stay here again.
Perfect location and amazing property especially when traveling with pets. Nice fenced yard, quiet neighborhood, location was close to event I was attending and easy access to restaurants and local sites. Host communicated quickly. When traveling to area in future would love to stay again.
Clean, open, close to downtown. Amazing host who was responsive. The house had everything I needed and didn’t need. Big comfortable bed, and stocked kitchen.
Spent the weekend here, perfect stay in a quiet area - 5 minute ride to shops, restaurants, and bars in downtown Leesburg. Everything was clean, well maintained. Would absolutely stay here again!
I love this place. It was clean and the host was very attentive. I wish it was warmer because the downtown area has lot of cool places. I highly recommend this spot!
The home was well-equipped and clean. They really had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The neighborhood was quiet and close to our events. We appreciated this listing being available for our stay.
My mother and I stayed at the Historic Hideaway and were SO impressed. Janelle was so easy to work with. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, and I was able to bring my little dog. The fenced in back yard was adorable and the house was in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be staying here again when we need to visit Leesburg.
My family had a great time staying at this location. The place was clean, perfect location and had all we needed during our stay. We are on a cross country road trip and wanted a place to relax, take a break from RV and spend time with old friends (we used to live in Leesburg and love the town). It was perfect for our needs and Janelle and Steve are excellent hosts and all communication was excellent. Thank you for having this great gem! We hope to be back soon!
We loved staying at Janelle’s bungalow right outside of downtown Leesburg. This was a perfect pet friendly space with the fenced in backyard. The bungalow is beautifully decorated and was ideal for a quick weekend to visit friends and family. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Nice and cozy house to stay and getaway from the city. The nicest backyard for a fantastic wine, laughs and some drinks. I appreciate Janelle with all of the attention since we book the house.
