Beautiful, private villa in the Cascada Azul community with a 180 degree serene mountain view, and a lovely view of sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. Relax on the beautifully landscaped, partially shaded terrace, with tropical plants and flowers, next to your own, private, Italian-tiled infinity salt water pool, with soothing waterfall and fire feature.

Enjoy toucan, parrots, butterflies, and the many birds that visit the property in the early morning and afternoons. The 900 ft elevation location provides a comfortable mountain breeze, even when it's steamy at the beach. Primary and guest bedroom/den have remote touch air conditioning, ceiling fans are in every room.

Enjoy your fresh catch of the day on the BBQ, with professional gas grill and fully-equipped indoor kitchen. Patio sliders open directly from open plan kitchen/living room to the shaded veranda with granite table and seating for eight. enjoy the best of CR outdoor living. Guests can relax between the pool, patio, or share a drink --and cooking advice!-- at the BBQ island.

Well behaved kids are always welcome, but house may be unsuitable for families with small toddlers or children who cannot swim, as pool in unfenced and only steps from your back door.

We recommend a 4WD vehicle because the home is located 1.7km off the highway via a maintained gravel road.

My family built this home in 2008-2009 to enjoy the beautiful Costa Ballena beaches, the wildlife, accessibility to the Osa Peninsula and Corcovado National Park area, and to be near our friends in Costa Rica. Dominical is the best of what the South Pacific area has to offer.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with the romantic beach town that afforded all the beauty of Manuel Antonio, but none of the hustle and bustle. Dominical boasts a perfect diversity of quaint and reasonably priced restaurants, and has just enough to keep you fully occupied for years, without being overly touristic. The unspoiled mountain development keeps us close to nature, yet offers nearby amenities and conveniences.

A private home in a jungle setting equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy your own, private pool overlooking the jungle with the Pacific in the background.

View the many birds and animals who visit the property, including toucans, guans, agoutis and, if you are very lucky, you may catch a rare glimpse of capuchin monkeys or perhaps hear passing howler monkeys. An outdoor barbecue and dining area allows you to dine in the soft breezes that cross the mountain.
