The Perfect Place to relax with family and friends after touring the lakes many wineries and sites. The sunrises are amazing from the house and dock. Found ourselves wanting to just stay in and enjoy the many amenities this house had to offer. Janet is an Awesome Host that really wants your stay to be perfect. Highly recommend this property!
This is the second year a group of us stayed here. It’s a beautiful home with an unbeatable view!! Janet is a great host , she makes sure your stay is as comfortable as possible! We can’t wait to come back next year.
We had a lovely stay there. Everything was as described and is beautiful set right against the lake. Perfect location for Seneca or Keuka lake wineries.
Wonderful place to stay, roomy without being huge (cozy feel) all of the bedrooms were nice sizes and was perfect for our needs and the lake right out the back door! beautiful!
This is a really lovely home. We were four women visiting for a wine trail event. This place fit the bill. A great feature is the wall of windows that face the lake, so you can just sit and enjoy the view. The home was clean and ready for us, and we found the communication with the host was excellent. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We love this place! Thanks.
We stayed here for our annual Girls Wine Weekend. This was our 11th year and our 2nd year coming to the Finger Lakes. Location of this property was perfect and being right on the lake made for amazing sunrises!
Check in process couldn’t have been any easier. Driveway can be a challenge to get in and out. We had a large suv. Kitchen was fully equipped with essentials but you may need to bring paper products and foil/plastic wrap.
Beds were very comfortable and linens were provided.
Everything was nicely updated as far as light fixtures and bathroom vanities
It was perfect for our group and would highly recommend this home.
Beautiful and clean house, plenty of room for an extended family vacation! Right on the shore with no steps which is excellent, and gorgeous view of the sunrise! The only downside to the location is that swimming isn’t for everyone because of seaweed and rocky shore, but that’s probably just a Seneca thing and I’m spoiled swimming mostly in Keuka. Had a fun time taking the kayaks out. Host was great with communication! Loved our stay and would highly recommend this property!
This was a great house for a family vacation with our 2 year old. The location was close to many wineries and Watkins Glen for exploring. We loved you could walk into the water from the yard. The house itself was well maintained and cared for. Janet was very communicative and answered all purvquestions.
Great place to stay on Seneca Lake. Walk right out to the water. No stairs and nice flat yard to relax or play in. Balcony to sit and relax on. Plenty of seating.
My wife and young son stayed here for the week in July. It was truly beautiful. We rented a boat from the marina down the road for the week and docked it right at the property. The morning views are beautiful. The house itself is very spacious and has all the amentities one would need for cooking/ grilling etc. The unit was a little dirty when we arrived (feet turned black from.dirt on the floors) but other than that it was a relaxing and enjoyable week.
The view was beautiful. But the utensils were dirty, the umbrella outside is broken, the outdoor grill was dirty, the swing outdoors was broken. We had to clean the grill and utensils before using them. The bathroom sink upstairs had an awful smell to it. The beds were very uncomfortable and just wasn’t what we expected.
The property was absolutely beautiful. It was very nice to be able to have such a beautiful outdoor space. All of the bedrooms were a great size. Only concern with the property was there was not many paper products (toilet paper and paper towels), so had to go buy additional to get us through the trip with a group of 9.
We had a great time staying and enjoying kayaking and exploring parks and visiting wineries. House was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The owner responded to our questions right away. Thank you so much!
Planning to come back the next year!
We had a pleasant stay at the lake house. We especially loved the location being so close to the lake to enjoy the water and water activities. We even got to see a bald eagle multiple times along the lake. The owner was prompt with responses when needed. The only downfalls were the overflowing trash bins upon our arrival that caused an unpleasant smell and attracted flies, the limited number of supplies (ex garbage bags) provided, and the level of difficulty opening and closing the doors.
To celebrate the high school graduation of our kids we planned a family trip to the finger lakes. That was in May, 2020. Needless to say, we never made it. It is now 4 years later and to celebrate college graduations we planned a family trip (now with 3 additional members) to the finger lakes. This time we made it!
The property was wonderful! It is located right on Seneca Lake, complete with several kayaks (which we used) and a fire ring (which we also used) and plenty of chairs for everyone. The 4 bedrooms were spacious, especially the master bedroom which has a walk out balcony over looking the lake.
At first, we thought parking was going to be an issue but there is more room than it looks. We had 4 cars and no problems. As for location, it is on the lower 1/3 of the lake, just off of the main highway making it easy to get to Watkins Glen (20 minutes away) for hiking and access to the many wineries in that region.
Communication was excellent. Before arriving we were emailed check in and check out information along with various instructions on where items were located. We did have a couple of questions after checking in and the response was super fast.
If you can't tell by now, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. I would not hesitate to stay there again!
I stayed here with 3 other couples for a weekend away. We loved it, wonderful home in a wonderful location! Our host was wonderful and very communicative!
Everyone wants make this an annual trip at this same home ! We will be back!
We loved our stay here! We rented with two other couples and there was plenty of space for all of us. We loved the fire pit and dock and even though it was a bit cold our weekend, it was still an amazing outdoor space for hanging out. My one and only complaint is lack of supplies on the kitchen. We had plenty of cooking utensils and pots/pans but no spices or other things like that. It worked out fine but just something to be aware of before you go so you can pack your own. Would definitely stay here again!!
