We loved our week at Beachtime! The location on North Beach cannot be beat - just a short walk to everything. The house was so clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great setup for multiple families. Would definitely come back!

Group weekend

Another great weekend in South Haven with friends. We've stayed in this house 3 times now and have had nothing but great experiences. Perfect location and setup for a beach weekend with friends.

First Vaca in 4 years

Property was amazing and so convenient to get to beach and town. Views were amazing! Spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Enough rooms to accommodate friends and family! Loved the porch/ deck with the beach and lighthouse view. Already planning another trip back here! Loved working with the property owner! She was available for all my questions!

Great Stay with Marybeth

Marybeth was great to work with and easy to communicate with as well. The check in process was simple and easy and allowed us to get our vacation started. The house is wonderfully located steps from the beach and the walk to downtown restaurants is a great one as you wind through the harbor. Parking was easy at the house as well. We had plenty of room for our group, enjoyed the big front porch, and the direct beach view it brought. Towels were a plenty and the house was stocked with anything when needed when we weren't at the beach. This was an annual trip for our group that moves around the country, but should we return to South Haven, we'll be staying with MaryBeth and recommend others do the same. The space, common areas, beach access and easy walk to downtown restaurants, bars, etc make the house a great stay.

Minor issues

The property is well equipped and easily accessed through maps. The recycle trash containers were left on the road by previous occupants so when we arrived we were a bit confused as to their ownership to the property as there are many homes nearby. The code and lock system for the front door, works, but typically takes several tries. A few words about the process in your guest book could alleviate confusion on opening the front door. Lastly, though the kitchen has many tools, there are no cutting boards so we borrowed from by brother's home and returned them to him at the end of our stay. Also, do not plan on any spices in the cabinet, though not a requirement for any home, it's nice to know there were none in the home.

Perfect location

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location is perfect to watch sunsets right from the porch or take an easy walk to the beach for the day. We loved the ample room on the front patio to play games. Plenty of sleep space. 3 stars for cleanliness- the beds had sand in them when we got there and the floors were quite dirty. Didn't hamper our trip in any way and would stay there again. Beautiful!

What a fantastic place to stay in South Haven

We used this place for friends & family as we held a memorial service for my wife, who had passed away six months prior. What a wonderful location right on the beach! South Haven is such a wonderful place to visit! Everything about this place was wonderful, and we loved how nicely upgraded it was. Communication with the owners was outstanding! Perfect setup for some great card and board games in the evening. Thank you and we hope to rent this again!

Location Location Location

This property is right in the middle of all of the action on North Beach! With just steps to the beach the location couldn’t be more perfect. The owners have done some updates which were great! When they update the rest of the house it will be a true gem! The listing is fairly accurate showing 6 bedrooms although the pictures vs the written descriptions made it difficult to determine which one was correct. But an email to the owner was met with a quick response. The layout is a little awkward and outdated. Bedroom 6 is only accessed through bedroom 5 but gives additional sleep space for a large family. The Remodeled bathroom was great, bathroom 2, has a door to the outside which is convenient when coming from the beach. Bathroom 3 is the only one on the top floor and made it the busiest and most crowded. Overall we enjoyed our week having plenty of space in the house and a great location

Great vacation!

We had a fantastic time at BeachTime. The location was amazing! Couldn’t ask for a shorter walk to the beach. The outside deck and patio were great and we spent a lot of evenings relaxing outside. The house was very accommodating for our group of 12 and could easily have fit more. I’d come back every year to this house!

Beachtime is a perfect Michigan beach vacation home! Plenty of room for our 2 families. Walk right out the door, take 10 steps and you are on the beach. It is even better than the photos show it to be.....we will definitely be back. Also, owners were very friendly😎

The Perfect Vacation

My extended family had our best vacation ever at this beautiful house in South Haven. The house is literally just steps away from the beach. There's a playground on the beach, directly across from the house. For a family with lots little kids, it couldn't have been better! We were lucky to have perfect weather, but the house is big and well-appointed, so we would have had plenty to do if the weather didn't cooperate. There's a paved loop around the house where the kids rode scooters and the adults set up bean bag games. None of us wanted to leave because we'd found the perfect vacation house.

Perfect Family Spot, Beautiful Home!

We booked this wonderful home to celebrate my mom's 85th birthday. It was a great location, as my parents both walk with canes now they we able to enjoy the beautiful views. The home was spacious and had everything we needed. We celebrated with an east coast shrimp boil and even got in some corn hole in the middle of October. The owners were very acccomodating and easy to correspond with! This home is in a great location with everything you need to enjoy Lake Michigan, South Haven and make some special memories !

My husband and I have lived in the western suburbs of Chicago all of our lives. We both grew up in Downers Grove and have lived in Bolingbrook and Lisle since being married.

Like most people, we didn't know what we had in our own backyard until we visited South Haven in 2001.

Why they chose this property

Our first visit to South Haven was in 2001. It rained all weekend but even so, we knew this was a gem. Two more visits that summer and we were hooked.

What makes this property unique

You will understand why South Haven is one of the best kept secrets when you see your first full blown South Haven sunset. And to be able to take in that sunset while sitting on the porch at Beachtime is priceless.

Beachtime's location is fantastic. But Beachtime also has the space to move around, both inside and out. Because Beachtime is situated on two lots, it has more outside space than almost any other home in Monroe Park. And better still is the fact that there is a perimeter wall about waist high that surrounds the property. This is especially beneficial for those of us with kids.
