Ever dreamed of staying in a “doll” house? This bright yellow Victorian charmer is just a short stroll to the beach and town. And if there are little ones in your party, Caledonia Park is right outside your back door! The beautiful coastline and recreation trail are just minutes away: pack a lunch, pick a spot on one of the many benches, and commune with sea otters, harbor seals and sea birds as local fishing and whale watching boats return to Fisherman’s Wharf. A golfer? You’re close to the Pacific Grove Municipal Course, and a short drive from some of the finest courses in the world. A shopper? Pacific Grove's eclectic shops are a few blocks away, and Carmel's boutiques are a short drive way.
This two story 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Victorian has hardwood floors, carpeted bedrooms, a fireplace in the living room, a cozy study, and charming touches throughout - like built-in banquette seating in the kitchen (and two completely remodeled baths upstairs: one with a deep soaking tub/shower, the other with a walk in shower).
You’ll enjoy the outdoor spaces as well as the indoor ones: the small back yard is fenced (dog friendly) and the deck off the dining area is a great place for a BBQ - or just sitting and soaking up the sun.

Love the Victorian Dollhouse

My husband and I have stayed at the Victorian Dollhouse several times and love it. The location is perfect and allows me to be on the walking trail within minutes. Our recent visit was in April 2023 and while there the vacuum broke and within hours a replacement was brought to the door. Next time we head to Monterey/Pacific Grove, we will try and stay in our favorite house once more.

Cottage by the Sea

A storybook cottage ideally situated a block or two from Lover’s Point as well as the shops and cafe’s on Lighthouse. From the front you would think it’s tinny but it opens up to a very comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home. A lot of rental properties feel like rental properties. This does not, it feels like you are staying in the home of a friend, one with good taste and an eye for design.

Charming home and great location

Our stay was very delightful. The location is great. You are within walking distance to some really great restaurants. The house was clean and well appointed. The one complaint is the wiring in the bathrooms. If two hair dryers are on it will trip the gfi breaker. Easy fix don’t use two hair dryers. Other than that we had a great time and would definitely rent this one again..

Victorian Dollhouse

Stayed here for a month while my house was being repaired and I really enjoyed my stay. From the Victorian charm of the house,to the close proximity of downtown and the ocean,this rental has it all. Relaxing vacation

The location and size of this home was perfect for our family. The owner provides shampoo and soap, towels, beach towels, bedding, garbage bags, etc. All the necessities, really. The house is overall very comfortable and the bathrooms are beautiful. The location to downtown restaurants and shopping is ideal. It’s also very close to the beach. We would definitely rent again.

Victorian Dollhouse

Very comfortable, well-equipped, lovely Victorian house, centrally located in Pacific Grove. The house is much bigger than it appears from the outside! House easily accommodated four adults and a toddler. Bathrooms are wonderfully updated. Back deck is sunny and relaxing. Easy walks to downtown and the beach. Grove Market and downtown restaurants are terrific. Public playground for children behind the house. Convenient parking in the driveway. Street parking can be a challenge. Monterey Bay Aquarium is a five minute drive. Stay here if you want an affordable, family-friendly accommodation in Pacific Grove.

Well Located charmer

We really enjoyed our stay here. Peaceful. Everything was just right, from the comfortable beds to the impeccably remodeled bathrooms. Excellent wifi for all your steaming needs. Perfect location for many fun activities. Close to cafes and coffee shops. We enjoy renting vacation homes in fun locations -- the Victorian Doll House stands out! We'll be back with the kids!

Memorial Day weekend

We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the dollhouse, it allowed our family of 5 to spread out and be very comfortable. Well stocked and everything we could ask for, even a fan which I need to sleep next to (white noise) at night. We would definitely consider a return trip. The beach is a couple blocks away, and the kitchen and cozy nook allowed for some great mealtimes together. 5 stars!

Be sure to bring your own condiments,spices,ziplocks as those were lacking.Check in and check out was a breeze and Michelle was highly organized and efficient. Overall it was just perfect for our family. Our home and everything was lost in the Napa wildfires so getting away to this lovely Victorian Dollhouse over Christmas was a new tradition that we will cherish.

Great getaway

Charming house In a great location! A couple blocks from downtown Pacific Grove & a couple blocks from the water. The home is well equipped with the "extra" being hotel amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer, iron) along with comforts of home, like a BBQ & a couple bikes. The rental process was super easy & will definitely do this again in the future.

Lovely, cozy home in terrific area

We enjoyed our 3-day weekend at the Victorian Dollhouse. The interiors were spotless with hotel-like amenities, including sample size shampoo/conditioner/lotion in each bathroom. Home is very bright with windows throughout. The home appears to have been completely remodeled, which was nice. Linens and towels are of good quality, all beds comfy. Neighborhood is terrific with easy walk to Red Cafe just up the street for a delicious breakfast with friendly service. Easy parking out front. It was a warm weekend and the top floor did get a little warm, but fans are provided. Huge master room includes walk in closet and large bathroom. All bedrooms are upstairs but enough privacy for all. Small issue with working the front door, but property manager came by and assisted. I also recommended a little sprucing to the exterior, but neither of those issues put a damper on our stay. I recommend this home which is much larger that it appears from the curb.

Amazing location!

We had a group of 6 people come down for a week and this house was simply amazing! Everyone had plenty of space and it's very close to the warf! Minutes away from some nice shopping, the aquarium and some of the best clam chowder in California ! Thanks Monterey Rentals! See you again soon! Joe

Wonderful victorian in PG.

We have twice stayed at Victorian Dollhouse, and everything has been perfect both times. It was very clean and everything in working order. Beautiful wood floors, large master bath plus two other bathrooms. Large walk in closet. Very well equipped kitchen. Only a short block from downtown and two blocks from ocean. Garage hard to access, but there is ample street parking.

Awesome week

We enjoyed an awesome week at the Victorian Dollhouse. The home is beautiful and worked perfectly for our family. It is clean and comfortable, has a great kitchen, incredible master suite, and even a nice little library for those perfect quiet moments. The location is great, too - just a short walk to Lover's Point or up to Lighthouse Avenue, and an easy drive into Monterey or Carmel. We liked it so much that we plan to return, same time - same place, next year!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is only two blocks from the beach and a block from lighthouse Ave. where the shops are. The place is nice and cozy. I will definitely stay here again.

The only thing about the house that is victorian is the front porch. The inside of the house lacked victorian charm, but it was clean, spacious, kitchen fully stocked with dish sets, glassware, various pots and pans and extra bedding and towels. We loved the location and the quiet neighborhood. My only suggestion is that visitors should be informed to conserve water and be provided instructions on how to turn on the TV, work the stove and washing machine. What we didn't love was the attitude of the property management. Arriving a bit early, we asked for the key and were told the house wasn't ready and to return at the 3:00 p.m. check-in time. We were not provided with any suggestions as to what we could do in the area until check-in time. Very unwelcoming!

Lovely Victorian Dollhouse

We had a great time staying at the Victorian Dollhouse. We had one couple and two single people. It was great having 2 1/2 baths and 3 bedrooms. Everything was at the house and it was great that we could sit around and enjoy each other's company. We were in town for a wedding celebration so 2 of us were from Kentucky and the couple was from Ogden, Utah. I would highly recommend renting this house for a short or long vacation. The location was great as you could walk to restaurants and other attractions.

The Doll House

The location of the house is perfect; it's literally two blocks from most things. We walked to the water, museums, and restaurants. We literally did not need our car unless we traveled further out for specific grocery stores. The yard is dog friendly with a fenced in area. We had our two German Shepherds with us and they were quite comfortable even though they are used to having several acres to play within. In addition, we found public tennis courts close by, again within walking distance although we chose to drive. We will definitely consider staying here again when our plans include travel to Pacific Grove.
